A jury has found Boy George guilty of falsely imprisoning a male escort.

The verdict was reached Friday at a court in London.

The singer, whose real name is George O'Dowd, was bailed until his sentencing on Jan. 16.

He was arrested last May after Norwegian Audun Carlsen claimed the Culture Club crooner handcuffed him to his bed at his London home and also beat him with a metal chain when he tried to escape after a naked photo shoot.

Boy George has admitted that he handcuffed Carlsen because he thought Carlsen was tampering with his home computer. He denied assaulting Carlsen or swinging a chain at him.

According to CNN, Carlsen told the court that Boy George made up the story about computer tampering so he could punish him for not having sex.

Said Carlsen, "I think he couldn't handle the refusal -- me not having sex with him."

This isn't Boy George's first run-in with the law: He was ordered to sweep the streets of NYC in 2006 as part of his community service after pleading guilty to falsely reporting a burglary at his NYC pad. Police found cocaine instead.
