Wait...Where did you find this? Forbes magazine had no mention of this. I highly doubt Jennifer Aniston donated $39 million in charity last year. It would have been all over the news, whether she wanted it public or not. Evidence, please. Any donations to charity are wonderful - leave the Jolie-Pitts alone and leave Aniston alone as well.

Why make a donation when they have a movie out? They exploit charity for PR.

They aren't the most humanitarian couple either. The donation for the Ethiopia clinic for tuberculosis and AIDS (which Zahara will run) story is up again at JJ and elsewhere on the net. Their PR fax is busy these days.

All of the foundation data is public. From the 2006 Form 990 for the Jolie Pitt Foundation, Pitt & Jolie each donated @ $4.2 million to their foundation, of which @ $2.4 million was distributed in 2006. The 2007 filing is not yet available. The Make it Right Foundation was established in 2007 and there is no record of contributions from Jolie-Pitt --i.e. no Form 990 on file for 2007; perhaps we'll see it later this year but it is late already. Of note is that they are asking for capital contributions and make note of Brad Pitt's interest in making it right--how many years after the fact? Didn't someone allege that the MIR housing was empty and the homes had been sold to Jolie? Sounds more like a real estate investment than a charitable contribution. The Global Action for Children website said it was in 2003, the public documentation shows 2006 and it's ruling year as 2007. There is no Form 990 for the charity--so no record on file of charitable contributions to it. If funds were donated & distributed, they would show on the 2007 Form 990. Perhaps backlog at the IRS, don't know definitively, but this 2008....late in the year.....This latest AIDS donation can be tracked in 2009 for 2008. The same for the $14 million they received this year. They may very well be donating in full to their foundation, what is important is how much of this they distribute in a given year or over time.

The majority of Brangelina hype is "planted" in the media to make them seem more "important" than they are, I will never take claims like this seriously AGAIN. Bought and paid for, folks; not a SCRAP of truth behind it!
