Brad Pitt: "My Goal" Is to Bring the Moustache Back in Style

 Landov Brad Pitt is bringing moustaches back. "That's my goal," the actor, 44, told Extra at the Monday screening of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in New Orleans. "I don't think 'staches are respected enough." The star has been sporting the facial hair while shooting war flick Inglourious Basterds. Added Pitt: "It's political. It's a political statement." (Also showing off upper-lip hair? BFF George Clooney for his movie Men Who Stare at Goats. Check out photos of George and Brad's Bromance.) The actor - who is born an old man ages backwards in Button - said he didn't mind seeing an elderly version of himself on screen. "It's actually kind of comforting to see that," he said. "No surprises." Pitt was joined at the premiere by Angelina Jolie - whom he'd consider marrying should it become important to their six kids, he said on the Today show Monday. "I'm very, very proud," Jolie said about her beau's movie. When asked if the family had a nice Thanksgiving, Jolie - who usually only makes cereal for Pitt - said: "Yeah, we did. Wonderful. We all did chip in." Pitt admits he didn't bake the turkey either. "[The cooking] wasn't me, but we ate like kings," he said. See adorable photos of the Jolie-Pitt family. angelina is trying so hard so people can like her but she's wasting her time. All I can see in her is pure lust. Everything she does has an agenda and it's not funny! She seduced married guys because she likes something that is unattainable and that belongs to someone else. Brad belongs to Jen and so what if she's the fertility queen. I just wish she and brad will have 50 biological children and will live happily ever after!

I admire both Brad and Angie. Two people who are both doing their share to help those who are in need with their foundation. Whatever other people may think their motives are, at least they are helping. I never question people who helps and I am sure the people in Africa, Cambodia, NO etc... don't either.

I can't think that many of you are over 14 years old. You get all up in everything Pitt says and throw Jolie in for good measure. The man is wearing the mustache for a MOVIE. I guess it didn't occur to you that he might have been kidding when he said he was bringing it back. No doubt all that most of you do is go from one celebrity site to the other dissecting what Pitt said and lamenting the woes of poor poor abandoned Aniston. Who cares if he said 'bake' rather than 'roast'. I agree with the poster who said you need to get lives. Sadly you won't because this is all you have going for you. With more serious matters in life, one would think you'd get tired of complaining about things that have nothing to do with you. Fix yourself.

The first time I saw Brad in a picture with this mustache and immediately thought of Clark Gable..it's not a good look for him and his lame attempt to bring back old Hollywood back into style is laughable at best. He and Angie have this bubble of illusion floating around them, they consider themselves the perfect family and it can only last for so long before they suck the air out of each other and that bubble implodes, leaving those children who think they have it so awesome in a heap of court battles and mommy's frequent trips to the lunatic asylum where she receives lobotomies and shock treatment on a daily basis....daddy? where is he?? He's cruising the red carpet looking for his next trout lipped, botoxed-to-boredom beauty.....

Brad pitt is just 'ok'. He is decent looking(not my type) but the Mustache looks silly. Now Angelina however, imo, is a freak. I think she 'collects' children of different races to fill some odd fantasy she has. I think years down the line, she will turn out to be a female version of Michael Jackson......

I think on the right person a moustache is classy and cool, on Brad it looks fine, and adds to his persona. I know a number of professionals who rock the stache, some people look creepy with them however. Have a good week everyone!
