Britney Spears Portrait Auctioned for Charity

 Steve Granitz/WireImage A portrait of Britney Spears is being auctioned to raise money for the Promises Foundation, which provides assistance for low-income mothers and their children. The 5-by-4-foot oil painting was created by Daniel Maltzman. Spears also autographed the artwork. The portrait depicts the singer in a bikini with her eyes closed and her arms crossing her chest. Spears' famous belly button ring is visible. See photos of Britney Spears' hot bikini bod. The painting is being auctioned on eBay with a starting bid of $10,000. The winner will receive an ownership letter from Spears' father Jaime. The auction ends Sept. 10. As of Saturday morning, there were no bids. Look back at Britney Spears through the years. I can understand why Sophie Okonedo was nervous abour performing in front of these Grammy-and- Oscar winners. Also, I can understand why Tristan Wilds, 19, was nervous about giving Dakota Fanning her first kiss, and that he had mints ready! Also, does it matter how I write my comments?

britney has been through a lot but anyone who watched the vma's (wether the like her or the fact she won!) you have to admitt, the girl looks FANATSTIC! shes giving away a priceless piece of art, to benefit struggling mothers, what a WONDERFUL thing!! I was just a little kid in the 90's and didnt listen to these POP singers that much, but I'm giving them all a shot! (christina, jessica, and britney!) and britney is my fav so far!!! Shes amazing!! I cant wait for her new album! I dont mind the haters!! I think everyone is entitled to their own opinons and that you need to look at negatives (haters) and positives (fans) to get an intresting person, and brintey is a VERY intresting person. People have so much to say about her (wether its good or bad)!! we have to admitt, shes one of the biggest stars in the world, and either you lover her or hate her. But thats up to you,no one else!

I think it's really sad that we have to doubt why someone does something good for others.. you ever think maybe, just maybe, she DOES have a heart and feels for the less fortunate.. I for one do think she did it out of the kindness of her heart and i commend her for it!! GOOD FOR YOU BRIT!!
