At first this sounded strange, but really, I think Britney is embracing this permanent conservatorship because she realizes that, despite her improving mental and physical health, she just can't be sure that she won't ever be taken advantage again by fame hungry/money hungry people who only attach themselves to her in order to further their own agendas, usually at her expense. This doesn't mean she isn't in control of her life or that she never will be in control of her life, it simply means that this temporary conservatorship has proven to Britney and the courts that her father is in fact trustworthy, that he is only concerned about her well-being. With him in charge, hopefully parasites like Osama Lutfi, Adnan Ghalib,and Ali Sims will be kept at bay, and away from a vulnerable Britney. She's struggling to deal with her Bipolar disorder and she's also in the limelight/spotlight, so she's got a lot to worry about, all while making a living and being a mom, so she needs help. This is entirely positive. I just hope that this won't impede any future adjustments to her custody arrangements. If she continues to improve, I think she should be afforded more custody.

thats good she may want to be in control of herself of course, but its what she needs and maybe somewhere inside still wants sometimes emotionally being strong and stuff going on is hard her dad taking over some of that is probs best for her which is good it's good to seee her smile and with her children they look so happy when there with there mama which is healthy for everyone, when i wasnt well i needed someone to take over and they did and some where inside i think i wanted or low i rebelled, and stuff like britney somewhere inside i wanted it looking back and it saved me i'm loving her new single and cant wait for the album saty safe britney xoxo catt

I don't know whose comments you were referring to and I don't disagree with you, however one of the key things I read in your post was that the college girl you mentioned is now recuperating AT HOME, away from the environment that had such a huge role in her mental deterioration.
If singing, recording, dancing and working out are helping Britney feel better, that's great. I just question why her family seems to be continuing to help her remain in the public eye by posting videos, pushing for an album to come out, getting her guest shots on tv shows? Wouldn't it make more sense for them to simply focus on being a family, on mending her relationship with her children?

I think this is a good thing for Brittany right now.

Some of you people need to grow up! "Good Grief" what are you some sort of clairvoyant? And are you in her life every single second of every single day? Nope think not! So you can't say what kind of a mother she is or will be! And a mental illness is not a trivial matter! You do things you would have thought that you NEVER would! We had a girl in college last semester go hysterical! She was normally a VERY level headed girl but she lost it last semester from so much stress from school, work, home, LIFE! She now lives back home and is having someone SUPPORT her through her ordeal! That's what Britney needed and didn't have it until her father stepped up! I think this is wonderful! Basically he's an assistant which MOST people have! Good job Britney, keep it going! And us that have believed in you through this whole thing are still rooting you on!!!

No matter where he was or how involved he was or wasn't to her as a child and rising star, he's there for her now... when it counts. That is a big responsibility he is taking on, huge. No wonder she has no objections. He has given up his career to take care of her; that's big, really big. She and he will be fine because he cares for her better interest as her father. Britney is lucky to have him - even better late (but when it really counts) than never.

If he was any kind of a parent to her growing up he would not have to control her life as an adult. Hope the money he made of her was worth it.
