Britney is GORGEOUS with black hair, blonde is so boring and the whole Playboy bunny look is old. The dark makes her look more sultry, seductive, and mysterious! I am a guy that has always preferred brunettes, easier to talk to and definetly more intelligent. Way to go Britney, and Congrats on the comeback.

I think she has reached a point in her life where she can be a respectable act. She does not need to be sleezy to have her fans love her, if she uses her sex appeal in a good way and does not make a mess of it this time around, she will be fine. You can be sexy without being and embarassment. Hopefully she realizes that she has more to offer than just that side of her. She has had to grow up in front of millions of people, make huge mistakes and go through the worst part of her life with millions watching and judging her. She has come back confident and hopefully has learned enough to make good decisions that wont put her in that position again.

5:33 you're entitled to your well formulated opinion but I disagree. Britney and Christina both have very smart managers and producers. Britney and Christina have both done shocking things (obviously Britney takes the cake as of late but I'm talking about before her meltdown). Christina has an incredible voice. And yet, Britney has ALWAYS been the more famous one. I have to credit her with something intangible that she just has. Something that can't be created by the best businessmen in the world. No other popstar has made the dent in music that she has made. People LOVE her. Or hate her, but either one is passionately. Even Rihanna with all her beauty and all her sexy videos and all her catchy music can't top the attention that Britney has always received. She's a performer, an entertainer. Maybe not an amazing singer but nevertheless a star. And there probably won't be one as big as her for a very long time.

They dressed her up as a Lolita with suggestive but not too suggestive lyrics - much like Christina. She is a creation & a very good one, but it doesn't mean she's special.

Although with the force feeding of the media it does seem that many just accept anymore what they are told is popular, sexy, good, enviable, & respected. Look at any My Space of a young woman & she usually has some picture of herself with her mouth half open or her eyes looking away because that's what they do in magazines. I imagine that if enough people are told over and over that she has a great voice, they will believe it.
