seriosly people what story are you all reading because i dont find this offensive. i actually saw this on youtube and she was very nice and friendly about it and she wasn't really addressing shania she was saying in general. shania is amazing and an icon carrie looks up to her and faith and others why would she want to offend her in any way...i do miss shania and it is great to see her back in the game. a lot of people are posting and mocking carrie because she came off a talent show...she has prooved she's more then a talent show contestant she has worked hard to showcase that she's more then just a pretty girl from a reality show. her accomplishments are crazy in just 4 years a lot of artists don't accomplish what she has already achieved. yes it was idol who made her and carrie never seems to forget where it all started but american idol doesnt win cma's, ama's, grammies, induction to the grand ole opry, headline your tours, or make all your singles go #1 all 9 of them...and so on....carrie accomplished this on her own not american idol this was just her stepping stone...carrie is an amazing talented singer and has been acknowledged for it...with hard work and determination anything is possible and i love her for not being scared to follow a dream

Why do they stir Carrie's statement to this ridiculous article, why they suddenly bring Shania name into this? This was Carrie's comment at the presscon after CMA Award when she asked about revenge(as I recall the interviewer asked her in relation to the cheat theme song) and there was no Shania's name being said.
