I have seen her interviewed a couple of times. She is a very beatiful girl, but doesn't seem to have much upstairs.

If everyone would shut up about the pregnancy and let her do her job perhaps she would not feel the need to defend and justify her actions on the matter. Since no one really knows who she is, it would be real nice to hear what she is all about but all I hear about is this pregnancy. My great grandmother was married and had children in her teens, my mother did, I did, my daughter did and it in no way was an embarrassment or a mistake. We welcomed all of our children, were raised well and do not live in slums like the media thinks is where all teen pregnancies apparently happen. Get over this "issue" and let us get to know Palin and her views on things that actually effect us and our Country. We have adults who have worked hard all their lives losing their homes, fuel prices out of this world and soldiers who still are not home. Can we please move forward. The Palins seem perfectly capable of welcoming the arrival of the new member of their family behind the closed doors of their home which is where the media needs it to stay.

I often wonder that if the situation had been reversed and one of Barack Obama's daughters were teenaged, unwed and pregnant, what kind of reception it would receive? I don't think that it would be applauded the same way.

NOW EVERYONE THINKS ITS GREAT THAT A 17 YEAR CHILD IS PREGNANT AND "CHOOSING" TO HAVE HER BABY, BUT BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF IF YOUR A SUPPORTER OF SARAH PALIN HAVE YOU ALWAYS BEEN A SUPPORTER OF LET'S SAY, THE TEENAGE GIRLS THAT HAVE BEEN HAVING BABIES AT A YOUNG AGE, WAY BEFORE THIS. I THINK NOT. SEE THE PROBLEM PEOPLE HAVE WITH THIS ISSUE IS THAT BEFORE, IT WAS WRONG - AGAINST EVERYTHING MORAL AND "RIGHT" AND NOW ITS OKAY. BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF. The View is so unrelevant. If anyone is using this show as a venue to obtain well thought out opinions on important topics, they need a lobotomy! Whoopi was funny in the 80's. Elizabeth makes conservative women look like crybabies. And who is Joy Behar? She was a nobody before the show and is a nobody now as far as I'm concerned!
Barbara...you were a serious journalist at one point in time...please pull the plug and get serious again!

These people make me sick. All they know is a pampered, self-serving existence. Any celebrity who uses their stardom as a political soapbox is severely abusing their status. They are extremely blessed and shun the God who made it possible for them to have the freedoms that they have. Shame on Hollywood, and shame on those snide, crass, opinionated...ehem..."ladies" on The View. If Charlize doesn't want to get married, that's her own choice, but would it be too much for them to conduct themselves more maturely in front of an audience of millions?

Poor girl! Hammered with all these wedding questions, just back off everyone! The real reason she doesn't want to get married is because she saw her parents' marriage. Her father terrorized her mother until one night...she killed him in self defense. Now ask her some regular questions, like 'What's your movie about?', and 'How to you keep in such great shape?'.

Pregnancies are not mistakes. Did she plan to get pregnant? No. Therefore it was an UNPLANNED pregnancy, not a mistake.

Choosing to have sex even with protection is a risk because no birth control is 100% effective. If an unplanned pregnancy occurs, that couple may feel that choosing to have sex was a mistake.
The pregnancy would be a CONSEQUENCE of that mistake, not a mistake itself.

Also, let's say a couple has sex and the condom they are using accidentally slips off and an unplanned pregnancy occurs. The pregnancy is not an accident, it is the CONSEQUENCE of the accident.

I think they're both extremely attractive, and if they had a baby it would be beautiful. But I think she loves herself a little too much. Look at the pic, look at how she's posing, using her bf as a prop. She's soo into herself.

She has been talking about having babies for years! Year after year she is still talking and nothing! She when she actually has a kid, wake me up!
