Marriage can't compete with the demands of celebrity status. It is just too high maintenance. Heck Brinkley wouldn't marry the human carpet that is required. Since she insists on maintaining celebrity status and won't marry a carpet, she can count on marriages being short.

Same for any celebrity - male or female. Except some men might go for the human carpet wife (wink).

BUT MARRIED WOMEN LISTEN...you're not listening...listen to what the man said. QUIT BEING SO QUICK TO LOW-RATE MEN. He was looking for a connection that he did not have in his own marriage. And then when he got the "attention"...he had something to compare it to. I'm not saying he went about solving the issue in the right way, because for sure he should've confronted his wife with how he was feeling.

Too many married people take their relationship for granted. People do disconnect. I'm a counselor by trade. Married people need to check in with one another every now and then to see IF THEY ARE ON THE SAME PAGE...and if they're not, get into marriage/couples counseling if they really want to salvage their marriage.

2:13pm I really appreciate your comment. I recently found out that I was in a relationship for 2 years where the other person was cheating on me the entire time w/his now soon to be wife. He met her a month after me, and 2 months after we broke up he proposed to her and they are getting married in 2 weeks. During our relationship he always accused me of cheating and I never understood why. I always thought I was the reason why the relationship ended...and thats simply not true. it wasnt my fault he couldnt be honest and tell the truth.
