Pal: Rebecca Romijn's Twin Girls "Might Be Coming Early"

Rebecca Romijn's Ugly Betty co-stars would put bets on the star giving birth to twins before her due date.

"She's due in January, but she said because they're twins... they might be coming early, maybe December," Judith Light told Usmagazine.com at the Women Empowering Women In Fashion, Media and Music Gala in NYC Saturday.

"I'm sure they're going to come sooner," Ana Ortiz agreed.

"She's been off since the end of August taking it easy," Ortiz said. "I guess we can't say what happens to her, but we had to give her a little baby break."

So how is Romijn, 35, holding up?

"She's doing awesome," Ortiz told Us.

Ugly Betty star Vanessa Williams also shared with Us that she's given "plenty of advice" to Romijn.

"She's having twin girls, she's well prepared already," Williams said.

"She's nesting right now," Williams revealed. "She can't leave in the next couple months because she has to stay close to home."

Romijn and husband Jerry O'Connell, 34, "are going to be the most fun, zany parents in California," Williams told Us. "The kids are going to be gorgeous.

"And she's smart, she's talented, she's funny, and she's well grounded," Williams added. "That's what you need to be to be a great mom and raise great kids."

I also conceived naturally, a huge shock at 19 years old. I couldnt believe how many people asked me if I had fertility like I would really purposfully bring that much work on myself at such a young age, like one wouldnt be enough. They are now 7 and I am having another one, ONE, had to make sure like the day I found out I was pregnant. I love my boys, but dont think I could do it again. It takes lots of patience, tons of scheduling and tons of love! She will be wonderful, twin moms are special.

Alij, I know what you mean. I was asked soooooo many times whether we conceived using IVF. I didn't think much of it at the time, but now I look back and that's a very personal question!! It's like they're trying to narrow down whether it's you or hubby with the problem.

I didn't mean that I'm the only one who conceived twins naturally. I just meant that it's pretty rare. That said, your risk of having multiples goes up the older you are when you get pregnant, especially if it's a first pregnancy. Who knows. Maybe Rebecca conceived naturally, but I don't think JLo did... They seemed to be trying for a long time, so I think they went the IVF route.

Twin Mom you are not the only person in the world to conceive twins naturally... I have no history of twins in my family and had mine at 33.... with NO fertility....... also carried to 37.5 weeks....... Given that we have no idea what happens behind closed doors maybe it would be worth taking what she has to say as it is!

I was in the States when I had mine babies and the number of people that asked me if they were IVF was amazing and intrusive.. I felt like saying no! My bits work!

An early arrival is normal for twins. Mine were born 3 weeks early, but I was induced, and my twins were almost 7 lbs each.

The high ratio of twins in Hollywood is thanks to IVF and all that other fancy fertility stuff. Rebecca claimed that she conceived twins naturally, but I doubt it. Same with J-Lo. They have the money to have fertility treatments and by the time they got pregnant, they were both pretty old.

Your chances of conceiving twins naturally are very very low. Look it up on the web. My hubby and I have 8 sets of twins in our families, so ours were a surprise. We're one of the lucky couples with the non-genetically-modified sets of twins. (And I was 27 when I had them)

These celebrities, even when very pregnant have either their whole stomach hanging out, boobs all but totally uncovered, or skirts up around their crotch. NO CLASS at all, they look horrible!

It seems like the claws are out. Give her a break Danielle. She seems like a nice person in any interview of her I've seen. Whatever names they decide on (hopefully not after the Olsen's, my wish is that they have healthy and happy babies. Her age is only a number. I'm 62 and wish I had the nerve to wear something like that even to the beach. She looks adorable. Much better than having on a tight t-shirt with half of her belly exposed.

Just curious, seems like every other couple is having twins, when you see the ratio in the general public of twin births, the ratio in Hollywood is very, very high. Just curious about it.
