CSI Star Marg Helgenberger, Husband Split

CSI star Marg Helgenberger has separated from her husband, Alan Rosenberg, her rep confirmed to Usmagazine.com on Monday.

"After 19 years of marriage, Marg and Alan have decided to take some time apart," Helgenberger's rep told Us. "They love and respect each other and remain committed to their family."

Helgenberger, 50, and Rosenberg, 58, have an 18-year-old son, Hughie.

The pair, who first met on the set of Ryan's Hope in the 1980s, didn't start dating until a few years later when they ran into each other at
a bank.

"Margie was totally out of my league,” Rosenberg told Midwest Today."I had never seen someone so beautiful in my life.”

Weeks later, they were living together, and they eloped in 1989 in San Francisco.

They are a great couple. It's unfortunate they are separating. Alan may have played a scumbag on CSI episodes, but I remember when he was on LA Law! He was fantastic as an attorney on LA Law opposite Harry Hamlin, Susan Dey, and the other great members of that cast. They are both splendid actors and I wish them both happiness in the future.
