Dancing With the Stars champ Helio Castroneves is facing tax evasion charges for allegedly failing to pay more than $5 million to the IRS over a four-year-period, TMZ.com reports.

Castroneves, 33, was indicted Thursday, along with a relative and an Ohio attorney.

They are expected to surrender to authorities and have their first appearances in federal court on Friday morning.

Much more serious than fudging on tax deductions.

I believe there have been some misunderstandings. I hope this IRS mess will be straightened out quickly. I totally enjoy watching Helio race and especially enjoyed his performance on Dancing With The Stars. My thoughts and wishes are with you. I sure hope this gets straigtened out quickly so Helio can race in Australia this month and he's found innocent. I've been a Helio fan for years (and open-wheel racing for many more years), and he is one of the most popular racers there is. Let's just hope someone screwed up (not Helio) and if there was something shady going on, then he was not responsible and had nothing to do with it.

It's nice that Cameron Diaz played a Playful tribute to her late father, Emilio, in his very small Cameo in There's Something About Mary, and it's nice that other stars payed tribute to classic films they were in as well! It's nice that a lot of people have supported Anne Hathaway all the way, before & after the arrest of her ex! It was nice of Leonardo DiCaprio to make a surprise appearance on Ellen DeGeneres's show!

These are very serious charges that Helio is dealing with, and tax fraud is something that has to be taken seriously. It would be absolutely disgraceful if a champion IRL driver & "Dancing with the Stars" winner ends up spending time in prison if convicted for quite sometime.
