Race Car Driver Danica Patrick Busted for...Speeding!

 Steve Granitz/WireImage.com Danica Patrick is speedy on the race track -- and off! The Indy race car driver, 26, was busted earlier this month in Scottsdale, Arizona for driving 54 mph in a 35 mph zone -- 19 mph over the speed limit -- TMZ.com reports. Patrick was given a citation by police, and is due in court at the beginning of January. This wasn't her first speeding offense: In August, she was pulled over for going 57 mph in a 40 mph zone. Wow, Danica got a speeding ticket... its about how safe you drive, not how fast. I drive the autobahn every day and i keep it to a reasonable 85 mph. That is where i feel safest. Danica, i am sure, feels she can drive safe at 120.

So, she got a speeding ticket. Almost everyone I know has gotten a speeding ticket before. Is this supposed to be a big deal because she is a race car driver? Oh yeah, and to those posting about her being "white trash"..... being an Indy race driver (not NASCAR) DOES NOT make someone "white trash". That's just like saying all rap artists are "gangsters", or all rock bands are "druggies". That is crazy and stupid to make such assumptions.

First off, most the NASCAR team shops are based in North Carolina but HQ is in Daytona Beach, Florida. Second off, she drives in the Indy Racing League, which has no realtion to NASCAR except for the fact that the driver's drive fast for a living. Big deal she got a speeding ticket. Lots of people do so this isn't exactly news. Oh, and Danica isn't white trash. Jealousy rears its ugly head.
