Daniel Radcliffe: Lost Virginity to Older Woman

In October's Details, Daniel Radcliffe confesses that he lost his virginity at age 16 (Britain's age of consent) -- and that the woman was older. The age difference "wasn't ridiculous," the actor, now, 19, says. "But it would freak some people out." (Though Radcliffe doesn't name-drop, a source says in the new issue of Us Weekly the ex is Amy Byrne, an assistant hairdresser who was 23 when they met on the set of 2005's Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. His rep had no comment.) Despite the hanky-panky, Radcliffe — who also says he'd like to play a "drag queen" one day — insists his life isn't too racy. "I don't pretend to do anything particularly wild," he says. "People talk about rebellion and they say, 'Where is the teenage angst?' "But I say I try to do it simply by the choices I make in the work I do," he goes on. "I just like wrong-footing people. I write poetry and I love it. I hate the double standard. The fact that he lost his virginity at 16 would be much more controversial had he been a girl. ok, Miss Kevin Jonas, the people who made the movie did not write them! They poorly made them, thats for sure. No, dont get me wrong, I love the movies, but they leave out WAY too much, and change the stories WAY too much. The age of consent in Australia is also 16, it's not just the UK. Personally, I don't give a rats backside when he had sex, or who it was with. To the person that said the age difference wouldn't matter if he was 20 and she was 27... that's just ridiculous. It doesn't matter what age they are, if they're both consenting and above the legal age. And the USA aren't the leaders of the world, the rest of the world doesn't have to conform to your standards. There are more underage teen mums in America than anywhere else in the world, so look what the age limit has done for you... NOTHING.

US laws don't apply to this guy because he is NOT A CITIZEN. So stop all of this "US laws should apply to the entire world" crap. At 16, he was allowed under the laws of the UK to do whomever he pleased and besides people in the HP fandom have known about Amy for ages. It was no secret, but it is old news. Congrats US magazine, on reporting three year old news.

I'm really starting to hate Daniel. I mean he has loads of secrets like he FINALLY comes out and says he's dispraxic. GET A LIFE!! He is an attention seeker. He isn't even that good of an actor. At 11 he was cute, now he's just annoying. He should leave the racy things to Miley Cyrus.
