Dylan McDermott has finalized his divorce from his wife of nearly 13 years, Shiva Rose, according to L.A. Superior Court papers filed Tuesday.

It remains unclear what custody arrangement the two have reached for their two daughters, Colette, 12, and Charlotte Rose, 3. McDermott -- who filed for divorce last May -- originally sought joint custody.

Papers also show that McDermott, who played an attorney on ABC's The Practice, acted as his own lawyer in the divorce.

The actor won't officially become single until Jan. 2 after the legally required six-month waiting period.
