I`m lesbian, and my couple is 7 years older than me,although I would not like getting married, I enjoy our life together. however, I have a 6 years old daughter who is my life, and if some day she asks me to finish my relationship, I know that i will do that. she is my reason, and my family. Personally, I don't agree with gay marriage, don't consider homosexuality healthy or as nature intended (before any left-wingers trumpet their oft spewed gobbledigok- animals eat their young and rape each other too, thus such examples of homosexuality being 'normal' in nature are poor).
However, I do respect Ellen a lot as one of the few media personalities who is genuinely talented and funny. So...good luck to her I suppose. Isn't hurting me. I just don't get why I HAVE to accept that two women or two men having sex and romantically loving each other is 'beautiful'. And when I say HAVE to, I mean it. What are we, in WWII Germany here? Left at 3:10a.m. 1st of all sweetheart, if you were to go in court(which sounds like you never have been by reading your statement), then you would know that when a JUDGE JUDGES you, he/she is letting you know the fate of your life right then and there. And you must serve that sentence right then and there. People on here like me are not judging these 2 individuals. We don't make the decision if they are going to go to heaven or hell. Come on let's be realistic. You know that these people are simply just sharing their opinions. You know this. How can they make the decision if those 2 individuals will die, go to hell, or whatever the case may be? JUDGING is just that. Making the final decision of what happens to and in a persons life. There is no God! I used to believe, as I believed in the Tooth Ferry, Santa, the Boogie Man and many old wivestales passed down to me over the decades. There is right and wrong, good and evil, but you don't need "religion" to know the difference between the two. What's needed for this is socially instilled in us by our environment. So if we're raised in an environment that allows certain behaviors, whether good or bad, we accept them as the norm. If drugs or alchohol were a part of your world growing up, then you may tend to have a less critical view of it unless you evolve and adopt different standards, if you evolve at all. Religion is a belief, a right in this country. However, it's no ones rigt to push their religious views on the rest of society and call anything contrary to it WRONG! If you want to worship, go ahead, just don't impose your worship on the rest of us. You want to pray at the games and school, go right ahead. But instead of making EVERYONE SUBJECT to your prayers, why don't you schedule it a few minutes before the event, show up to the alloted timed event and have at it! You have the freedom, appreciate it and then extend the same damned courtesy to everyone else, even if it's different than what you believe. Freedom is for everyone, not just for the self rightious! We have the freedom to believe otherwise. Now PLEEEZE shut up! We heard you alreaday, and we don't agree! And NO, you can't change our minds, just quit!

Hey R.L. - If you don't believe in a creator or designer of humanity then there are no rules which is just what you want to believe - anything goes and goes to chaos. If you do believe then the rules and design are obvious

The parts below don't 'fit' according to your rules of life. But, there are other things to do. BTW, it shouldn't matter. Is the 'proper' sex more important than love? Can anyone in here honestly say that they have always loved someone with comlpete rational thought? Can anyone in here honestly say that love, man and man, woman and man or woman and woman, Does it ALWAYS make sense? Look at some of these staright couples who are completly disfunctional. Fight all the time, cheat on eachother, or whatever, are they really, in your eyes, some how better because, in the end, they are straight? Look past the gender, try to set it aside for just a second...if they are not hurting eachother or anyone else, not fighting all the time or trash talking eachother (or anyone else) is it so bad? You are not the ones in the relationship. You are not going to bed and waking up to them. They are not hurting you, or anyone else. Give them a break. If you do not like same sex couples, don't look and don't be in that kind of relationship. Having someone to put your hate on is easier. Get on with your lives and let them get on with theirs.
