Friend of DJ AM: "People Won't Dance the Same Until He Gets Better"

Well-wishes continue to pour in for DJ AM and Travis Barker who suffered severe burns in a Learjet accident that claimed that lives of their two friends.

"People won't dance the same until he gets better," DJ Cassidy told Usmagazine.com of his fellow DJ pal at music producer Jermaine Dupri's 36th birthday party at NYC hotspot Tenjune on Tuesday.

Cassidy said DJ AM (real name: Adam Goldstein) has been sending text messages.

"I think that's a good sign," Cassidy told Us. "He'll be back stronger than ever, making us dance and party again!"

Dupri, who visited Barker and AM at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia was equally optimistic about Barker's condition.

"My man Travis is going to be alright. He's really doing better. I went to see him and he's alright," Dupri told Us. "He's in good spirits."

I am sure what DJAM and Travis survived was horrific. I hope they get better and wish them the best. All the negative comments are pathetic...these are human beings that just went through a tragedy and survived...amazing! The loss of their friends is very sad! For those that like to put their talents down...jealousy is a waste of time!

Ha. not that bad whether they were texting or not 4 i repeat 4 people lost their lives in that accident dont say its not that bad people died so loved ones are at home grieving whether DJ AM and travis barker made it out okay and are alive thats fantastic but to say its not that bad. maybe or maybe not for travis barker and DJ AM but i can imagine the familes of the other four would disagree with you on it not being that bad.
