7:37 thats the problem with your country...you don't have the courtesy or social sense to care about what other people think, so you just go ahead and do whatever you want (like invade countries illegally and kill women and babies) and steal from whoever you want (like oil, for example) and as a result, the rest of the world hates you and your arrogance. You know, aside from the beautiful country that it is, the reason I love vacationing in Cuba is because there are no Americans there. and yes, I can just imagine the arguements that will come now ("but Cuba is a horrible place, they told us that in school!") Its too bad you will never know how beautiful and peaceful it is there, but the fact you are banned from that place is an example of what the world thinks of you. Ignorant people.

7:37....oh yeah....You're "exactly" the kind of person we need speaking on America's behalf. No WONDER the rest of the world has such a nasty view of us these days. You couldn't care less about the world outside of your community and your church. You attend bible study and go to church and you raise your children with the laws of God. This is wonderful. Really. What's NOT wonderful is when you look at the rest of the world and say I don't give a cr ap about you. That's not right. That's not Christian.

6:46: As you stated earlier to me, "You need to address your gripes about God's Laws to GOD".....how about you worry about YOUR faith and your problems rather than getting into other people's business. It's not YOUR job to make sure the rest of the world obeys Christian laws. That's what I was saying earlier. Don't worry about the rest of the world being a "good Christian"...worry about YOU being a good Christian and allow these people to get married and live their lives without a cynical, judgemental eye.

DUH! Talk about splitting hairs. Let me explain this so your pea sized brain can perhaps understand. I never blamed "marriage" for the divorce rate..although..without MARRIAGE, there would be no divorce. Can you understand that much? Now..what I SAID was that men and women have messed up the state of marriage (over 50% divorce rate) bad enough..so gay couples couldn't do any worse. If you can't grasp that perhaps you need to get off tabloid websites and get some sort of education.

However, I wasn't, and today I suffer from tremendous depression, I am physically disabled and I can trace much of my physical and mental maladies back to parents who refused to work at their marriage and continued to make life unpleasant for each other and for me and my siblings. I also was physically and emotionally abused by both parents due to their own misery and refusal to improve their marriage and seek professional help for their marriage.

Thanks for the huge laugh! If you think marriages between men and women work that great I guess you haven't paid much attention to the fact that over 50% of all marriages between men and women end in divorce. Gays can't mess up marriage any worse than heterosexuals have!

The stats are true, unfortunately, for the last 5o or so years.....however, before that, going back decades, most marriages lasted, with divorce being the exception. It's still the preferred method of committed people, regardless. Ideally, wouldn't we all prefer to be brought up in a family with a happily married mother and a father, if given the choice?

"Christian" comes from "Christ" meaning, Jesus Christ, and the life and works of Jesus Christ are systematically recorded in the Bible. However I'm surprised that you're questioning why the laws of God should be obeyed. Didn't you read that in your copy of the Bible? You need to address your gripes about God's Laws to GOD, not to the rest of us. I could be mistaken but NOBODY here thus far has claimed to be God. There're laws in this country that have to be obeyed, laws made by the government, they include paying taxes and traffic laws. Would you also question why THOSE laws have to be obeyed? Try not paying IRS whatever taxes you owe them and see what happens.

4:15...and one more thing I meant to add....the whole country is not Christian, and thus should not have to have laws based on the Judeo-Christian bible. Our laws are supposed to be void of any religious leanings. You may not agree with that, but that's the way things have been for a while now. I have consistantly heard the many Christians on this site saying that the laws of God should be observed. Says who? I'm Christian...I go to church every week. But I don't think everyone should have to follow Christian laws if that is not their belief.
