Foul-mouthed celeb chef Gordon Ramsay is laughing at claims that he had an affair.

On Friday, London's Daily Telegraph reported that Ramsay popped by BBC's Good Food Show in his first public appearance since Sarah Symonds, who wrote the book Having an Affair: A Handbook for the Other Woman, claimed that they have been having a seven-year affair.

"What a week I have had," said Ramsay, who has married to wife Tana for 12 years and has four kids. "I want to give you a big thank you for coming - it's been a tough week."

Referring to his chef rival Delia Smith, who penned the book How to Cheat at Cooking, Ramsay went on: "I have been up close and personal with Mrs Smith - Delia. I got in there.

"She gave me a book about how to cheat - but I didn't think anything of it at the time."

His joking didn't end there.

"We had a new bed delivered this week - the paparazzi outside must have been thinking that I'd been forced to sleep in the basement," he told the audience. "Mattress, mistress, mattress, mistress. What a load of bulls--t. My mum is here so I'm on my best behaviour, ooh la la.

"Oh f--- it, I didn't do it, mum. I love you," he added. "All my family here are well."
