i dont think is offensive...theres a lot of people who use nun costumes even in pornographic films...

I am a Hindu, and I personally feel as though not many people have really taken the time out to dress up as someon from the Hindu religion. I think it's great that Heidi Klum went out and tried new things. There is nothing to be offensive about the picture. How many people can do what she did? How many have? However my roomate and I were discussing how, isn't it the same thing as dressing up as a "Nun/Sister" or "Jesus" on Halloween. We go to an all girls catholic school and a lot of girls decided to dress up as Nuns. No one made a fuss. Therefore, this picture should not be considered offensive to anyone because I think she looks amazing and it took a lot of time to make her look like that. More people should dress up and be whoever they want to be.

Im not hindu but this is totally offensive! Some comments on here are retarded. Imagine if a hindu called Jesus a scrub...I am sure there would be a U.S. mob after him/her. Just because in the U.S. its ok to mock...everything...doesn't mean another country feels the same way. And then you wonder why every country in the world hates the U.S.

I think people should be offended by this. Why is it ok to make a mockery of someone else's religion? I'm not Indian, but I do think this is offensive. Why would you dress up as a Hindu goddess, if you don't know anything about Hinduism. I think catholic people would of been offended if she had dressed up as one of the saints for Halloween. I would say something about her being German and therefore a little culturally insensitive, but the outfit speaks for itself. This is just another example of sheltered and privileged Westerners (Americans and Europeans) not knowing and understanding other cultures.
If an India person, who wasn't even Christian dressed up as Jesus, then obviously it would be offensive.
Some people like Heidi Klum are just so ignorant. I never really like her anyway. If she wanted to do a costume for Halloween she should of went as herself without makeup, that would of been sight to see. Auf Wiedersehen

I agree with Lucy, It was never as serious as some are making it out to be. It's plain to see that she really didn't mean any harm by wearing the costume..I'm pretty sure we all do things that others may find offensive at times. That doesn't make you a bad person and it surely doesn't mean that you shouldn't be liked anymore because of it..or does it?....Saying she's a bad person and that you don't like her anymore kinda puts you in the same boat as her..What ever happened to forgiveness ??? It is not so much the costume but what Heidi Klum said that is offensive.
It is not nice to call the God of another religion mean. Bengali poets

Klum is one of the least offensive famous people ever portrayed. It is a costume and costumes are meant to be just that.
