Why are they already telling us how the show ended before it even comes on? Stupids.

I really liked Jason on the Bachelorette and am happy he's found love. That said, I still don't believe the premise of this show. I honestly don't expect them to stay together. Realistically, how could anyone? You and 25 women are wisked away to an island, your every wish is granted, you're flown from one romantic getaway to another...of course you're going to fall in love. Then the show ends, you leave, you're back to the real 'reality' and you're separated for a month or two while the show airs. It's bound to fail. Past couples have all proven it. What the most shame in this is that a young child is involved.

Jason did the show because there was a huge drive by the fans after he appeared on "The Bachelorette" and wasn't chosen to get him to be the next Bachelor. Also, he decided to do the show because he felt like it could really work and because he was really ready to meet someone.

As for "why is this news?" It's entertainment news and believe it or not ... that still makes the news.

I'm happy, too, for Jason Mesnick being engaged.

So, I met someone. I think he's the one. We've been together six weeks. I call him everyday, sometimes about 5 times a day. I tell him when and what I eat. When I potty, when I don't. He bowls. I ski. He is cute. not over the top cute like Jason but cute like Brad. I am head over heels. His name is Will. He is 32 I am 28. We met online. Well, we haven't "met" in person yet. He keeps blowing me off. But he tells me that he loves me, so that's a good sign, right? He has a daughter. She is 9. Cute kid. Looks like an older version of Suri just with blond hair and blue eyes.

I have to agree with 11:15... just because he's not rich and he's a single father doesn't make him a great catch. I think he's a great catch! Heck, my fiance thought he was the best out of all of them.. (yeah, I roped him into watching the show too.) You don't have to have millions, and be driven everywhere in a limo to be a great catch. There's more to life than finding someone who will give you a free ride. It's about finding a partner, in an adventurous way sort of. All of the women (Trista, Meredith, Deanna) have all been pretty much like the girl next door. There wasn't anything overly special about them (i.e., wealth).

As for him having his kid involved in the show, he waited until the last moment to introduce Deanna to Ty and I'm sure he'll be doing the same this time. I think the point of him involving Ty is that, I as a single wouldn't accept someone's proposal without seeing how they are with my child, and I'm sure he's going to be doing the same. Cut the guys some slack... he was one of the few class acts that has been on this show in quite some time. Give him a chance and see what he does first.

what makes this guy such an eligible bachelor? i thought they were supposed to have above average guys....someone who is a great catch. he just seems like your average jo. i guess they couldn't get anyone else to do the show. i watched last season, and he wasn't that special.

What makes you think his kids going to be involved? Like he'll be standing at the door welcoming these 25 ladies with his kid in tow? Come on. This guy seems a bit more classy than that. I haven't watched Bachelor for a couple seasons now, but I'm going to watch this one, just because this guy seems pretty genuine. Don't judge him until you've seen if his kid is even there.
