She made a lot of bad financial decisions. She needs to start thinking of her daughter and their future.

For everyone that has posted something positive for Fantasia, please keep doing it. For all the people that are making racial comments, or calling her ghetto, and ugly. It sounds like to me, that you are insecure, ugly, ignorant, and untalented. Their is no need to make racial comments at all about her, if you dislike her then fine, but you do not have to make those remarks at African Americans/black at all. You are a coward, who is probably a pathetic loser, with no friends and you are mad at everybody because you are a LOSER!!!!

All the childish comments need to stop...do you think for one minute you are hurting Fantasia feeling doubt it very seriously...Just remember we are all struggling with our finances. Tasia put God first and He will never leave you...Remember Peter walking on the water "O ye of little faith. What happened when he put his trust in Jesus? I think that no one has room to judge her because it is not up to us to decide what happens with her future as far as her living arrangements are concerned. I definitely know that she has talent and she won American Idol as a result of millions of people that enjoyed what she brought to the show! Her role in The Color Purple was extended so people can say what they will or may, but that did not occur because she did not have what it took, but because she did! My family knows her family personally and she is far from arrogant or above anyone! I think she was overjoyed about the change that was about to take place in her life and she invested in this fabulous home that probably is too much to maintain at this point in her life financially. I do not get into pity parties, but I will say that she came from little of nothing and she wanted it all instantly! No, I do not think that was a wise decision, if you are human then you suffer from the same thing at some point or another!!! For the sake of her credit it will not be the greatest thing to let go of what she has invested in, but at the end of the day she still has a roof over her head. Life is all about choices and the consequences that come along with...hopefully the lesson has been or will be learned.

This isn't a shock to me. She can't sing and she can't act. She shouldn't have spent money she didn't have. She seems to think she is the best at what she pretends to do. I think it is time for someone to let her know she isn't the A-list celebrity that she thinks she is.

She can afford the payments. She CHOOSES not to pay it b/c the house is no longer worth the money she paid for it in 2007. In fact, it's worth about 30% less than that. She is CHOOSING to walk away and let the bank foreclose on it. She doesn't have a lot invested in it. It's public record what she paid, how much she put down, how much of a lien is against it. So, no, I don't feel sorry for her. Not in the least. And I don't feel sorry for the millions of other Americans doing the same thing. It sucks, and we all pay for it. Another form of welfare being taken advantage of. Disgusting!

Can you please tell me why she needed to purchase a 6,000 square foot home? She should have purchased something within her means. Just because she had some cash at the time of the purchase doesn't mean she would have the means to maintain the future payments. I feel compassion for people who live within their means and then something happens (medical bills, loss of a job, etc) and then they lose their home. I DON'T feel compassion for anyone who purchases a huge million dollar home without the means to maintain payments. When a person puts little thought into how they will be able to pay off the mortgage this is bound to happen. Fantasia has no one to blame but herself. Maybe next time she will purchase something smaller than a 6,000 square foot mansion.
