I have to say that bringing Burke back would be the only thing to save Grey's Anatomy from the massive amount of suckitude it has been suffering from. It hurts to admit that it now physically sickens me to watch a show that I once took great pleasure in. Meredith is a personality-less twit, which could be said about most of the characters on the show with the exceptions of Burke, Bailey, and Addison. Of course, Burke's gone, Addison has her own show (a great show I might add; one of the few in TV history that is much better than the show it spun off from), and Bailey...well, as talented as she is, Chandra Wilson isn't enough to keep me watching.

it would be best for grey's anatomy to bring back preston burke. cristina and preston really make the show worth watching. they are not the boring type of couple. the couple looks really cute.

I haven't watched Grey's Anatomy that much lately. Even though I hated it when they fired Isaiah Washington, I finally realize why his return may never be good for the show. Simply put, because of all of the comments posted on this site and others like it. You all don't deserve having Dr. Preston Burke back. He was the only complex character surrounded by several one dimensional characters, except for Dr. Bailey (I wish they would have given her an opportunity to shine, but I understand all about ratings. The only mothering figure on the show would have allowed Seattle Grace to become the teaching hospital that it was supposed to be. Now you want to disrupt her marriage as well. Thanks for continuing to portray that African Americans, professional women in particular, are not able to balance family life and a successful career). The opportunity has come and gone to allow Dr. Burke to return. I don't see the chemistry between Christina and the Army medic that everyone claims is there, but why not at least allow us the opportunity to see how the characters in this love triangle to react if he returned. The end of the show has already been revealed to us. The writing on the wall is so clear, but let me explain it to those who just don't get it. Dr. Hahn's character was last seen explaining her intentions to report her findings about Izzie. Seattle Grace will eventually lose it surgical accreditation and therefore will not be able to teach future surgeons.

I do think burke should be brought back since hahn is gone they need somone for cardio and it should be burke he fits the charchetr and makes the show that much better the show as been not very good since burke and addison left (since they were both my favorite) so if they were to at least bring one of them back it would make the show that much better!

If he did say the slur (I know most of you are saying he didn't) but we don't actually know what happened and no amount of research online would help that. If he did say that to T.R then I would be very disappointed because that is just plain mean, T.R is my fave on Grey's and even though the storyline with Burke and Christina was great, I wasn't as disppointed as I would have been had T.R been forced to leave because of being hated on. Although as I say he may not have said it and that would suck if he had been let go for no reason. I do agree with some of you that it's funny that he should say to fix the show his character to come back lol.

The point is they went through all of this doo hickery to fire Isaiah Washington based on a PRIVATE matter that happened between him and a fellow castmate just because TR was gay, and now they have all these lovely gay characters walking around in their storylines (I guess to prove that queer is here to stay) with great actors and now they want to take them away. They are even taking that part out of Melissa George's character. I'm not saying that I need to see all this gayness. I'm not even down with that, but how are you going to fire someone for being insensitive about homosexuality, then do a storyline on homosexuality and then take it away all of the sudden. It's like ABCD is pretty much doing an Isaiah which makes them even more of a hypocrite.

I too stopped watching "Grey's" when they let Waashibngton go. It has no substance anymore. From what I heard he didnt call he co-star a f@gg&t, he was saying that he didnt. Whatever happen to free speech. People say derogatory things all the time.

Isaiah Washington never spewed a homophobic slur at T.R. Knight he was in a heated argument with Patrick Dempsey about his repeated tardiness and delaying a scene they were shooting and he said I am not going to be your fa--ot, implying that he couldn't push him around. Do your research it is not hard to find out what really happened instead of perpetuating this lie. I have not watched Grey's since he was forced to leave. He was the only male character worth watching and part of the only interesting couple on the show. I am not surprised that they would do it again. They obviously have no respect for their gifted actors of the fact that they do have families that depend on their making a living. Erica Hahn could have continued to be an interesting character that just happened to be gay that was not in a relationship with Callie. She was a good surgeon with interesting surgeries before so why couldn't she continue to be. It seems really disingenuous.

I never liked the character Brooke played from day one. Nothing against the actress ..just the character They could have done so much more with her role. I am glad her character is off the show and as for Isaiah Washington; I have never like his personality or the character he played. So The show has definately be better to watch without his presence. Once an ass..always an ass.

I gave them a chance after Isaiah left. I though it was right for him to have to go. But the show sucked after he left.

It's like ...Welcome to the club for Washington & Smith...they don't have to worry if they are really good actors...they should get other "gigs" out there ..then they can prove that it was the show's loss for getting rid of them....they make tons of money per episode anyways...Washington's comments are just coming from a "sour graping" actor..maybe he's out of work? wasn't he in another tv show after he was dumped due to that homophobic remark he made? what happened? did they dropped him too? There are other actors out there...so please don't bring back the Burke story line...Cristina has moved on and this love angle with the Army Medic will be nice to watch evolve...That was a nice move to let Denny make an appearance just to let Izzie have some closure and move on with Karev....

Pls we miss burke, bring him back. He was my best character in the show and I really love all his issues with Yang. We need burke.

9:51...You're nuts! T.R. Knight is the BEST! His facial expressions and his line delivery is always sooo funny! Mine and my daughter's favorite charactors are Dr. Bailey and George. Grey's Anatomy used to be my absolute favorite show. Had all the DVD's! However, I've already told my family NOT to buy me this season's DVD for Christmas. I had to stop watching. I'm sorry. I don't want to offend anyone. I have no problem with people being gay or lesbian. BUT...and I admit that this is my own problem to deal with...however, I CANNOT watch two same sex people being affectionate in any way. It literally makes me nauseous! OMG! I can't get past it! I LOVE Ellen Degeneres and T.R. Knight! They are both so incredibly talented! But I couldn't bare to see either of them kissing their significant others. I had to stop watching Grey's because of Callie and that Dr. Dike. Now that the "affair" is over, I'll probably go back to watching, but the show was much better the first two season's WITH Dr. Burke. There are too many new charactors coming into the mix. The originals were the best.
