Janet Jackson's Mystery Illness Diagnosed

 Dominique Charriau/WireImage.com What was the mystery illness that forced Janet Jackson to postpone a string of dates on her Rock Witchu tour? Migraines! The singer, 42, suffers from vestibular migraine, a rare condition that induces the sensation of vertigo, her manager, Kenneth Crear, said in a statement. "Janet wanted very much to resume her tour so as not to disappoint her fans, but she continued to suffer from vertigo and could not perform," Crear said. "She's a world-class entertainer and needs to be at the top of her game to give her fans the show they expect. She's feeling much better and is ready to hit the road again to finish the tour." I had such respect for Janet she seemed the only "sane" one of the Jacksons and she was always so "ladylike, sweet, pure" an example to emulate of how a woman should comport herself. But, when she started all this display of her flesh as time went on more and more pushing the envelope until the infamous "Nipplegate" incident, she lost a LOT of fans. She should have kept her true self in the closet. Then to add insult to injury she actually said that it was "unplanned...he just did it as impulse..." get serious. It just so happens that she had a "fixed" costume that rips apart, a boobie ring all designed and set up for exposure and SHE is "surprised"? To her former fans she showed her true colors that she decieved and lied to us bc under that "quiet voice, coy glances..." she is just like all the other HW wannabes selling their wares for publicity and the almighty Dollar. Since then I can't see her without picturing that humiliating moment in her life and the moment I lost total respect for her. A respect she will never be able to get back from her former fans. I wish her the best... but we are outta here~

Vestibular Migraines are horrible, I remember when I was first diagnosed. I felt like someone was twirling me around so fast. I tried to sit up and had to hold onto the sides of the bed because it seemed like the world was spinning so fast, it was horrible! If this is truly what she is suffering from, then I feel for her, as I would feel for anyone dealing with this horrible diagnosis. There are treatments, but they do not always work.

You're either weight 83 pounds, 5'7"... or you are a 268 pound, 4'8" woman that doesnt want to face her obesity and point fingers at someone else... Janet has gone through a lot of yoyo dieting but obese?? I dont think so honey... that's not a rare condition. I've been dx with two different kinds of migraines and while the one type isn't common among people my age, it's not labeled "rare". I think the public, and her fans especially, need to hear the rest of this story.

Hmm, if it really was migraines it wouldn't have been a secret. 10 to 1 that in a few years she will put out a book that talks about her going to rehab for this or that drug.

I get the feeling there's more to her "illness" than what is now being said. She has poor ticket sales, her album fell off the chart and her star is not so bright, she's aging, her beau threw up all over her couple of weeks back after intense night of partying, then she cancels show after show. I think it may be hush-hush but Janet may be a big time partier (her pupils always look extra-large) and an admited depressive so maybe needed some detox. I mean, give me a break, celebs always seem to have the type of illnesses that are rare and when flu or "exhaustion" doesn't work, it's like their PR dig through the medical journals going "hmm, let me see, what could we tag it as so nobody will be suspicious". All sounds suspect to me.
