I loved the original show! And I am so disappointed not to see the old characters that established it and made me get hookedon it not there with serious lines and stories.
Branda and Kelly need the boys back to juice up the plotor the new cast willfind themselves in yet another bland teens series. And to be honest there are other teens series that do it better!

I loved the original 90210 show. I've seen almost every episode from the beginning to the end. The new show is ok. All the characters (on the new show) are really bland. None of them stand out from the others. The original cast had specific character types. Brandon was the boy next door. Dylan was a James Dean type. David was the little brother, always trying to be a part of the older crowd. Kelly and Donna represented the rich girls of Beverly Hills, who we thought their lives were so perfect, but actually weren't. Andrea was the bookish type, who felt she had to prove herself. And Brenda started out as the new girl in town, trying to adjust to life in a very different, new town. If the creators and producers are smart, they'll try to get as many of the original cast back as they can. The story lines and the new cast just don't make it memorable. If they don't fix this show quick, it probably won't be picked up for next season.

Since Silver is David and Kelly's sister.. he too should come back!

I too, was bored with the show last night without Kelly and Brenda. I don't know how interesting the show is without those characters and their story lines. It would be great to have Brandon on and Dylan too.

I agree with Hula. As an older viewer and fan of the original show, I watched the first episodes with Kelly and Brenda. However, I ended up turning it off last night after 15 minutes.

Annalynn McCord was 100% better on Nip/Tuck and both her and Shanae Grimes need to take acting classes.

I agree, I only watch it because of the interaction w/ the old crew i grew up watching! If they weren't there in some way, i probly wouldnt. Even if it's not ALL the time they're on, but talking about them and showing some of them once in a while would be great. Actually, they DID say that Dylan is Kelly's baby's dad. Brenda said it. Well, we'll see what happens!!!!

I like seeing the older crew interact with the newer cast. I don't think the draw is there for the newer cast to pull off the show alone. I think the mix of story lines with the former cast makes it more tolerable for the 25-older viewer. Just being honest.

The Brenda/Kelly factor is the difference of watching or not for me.

Dylan needs to come back to resolve the whole Kelly-Brenda-Dylan triangle and to sort out the baby Daddy mess!!!!
