Jennifer Aniston: What Angelina Jolie Did Was "Really Uncool"

In the December issue of Vogue, Jennifer Aniston opens up about Angelina Jolie -- and then some.

When first asked about Jolie, Aniston asked the reporter, Jonathan Van Meter, to turn off the tape recorder for a moment.

She did, however, want to go on the record about one thing: She said she was bothered that Jolie felt the need to recount a detailed timeline of exactly how she fell in love with Brad Pitt on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. (Pitt was still married to Aniston at the time).

"There was stuff printed there that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening," Aniston said. "I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss."

Aniston then shook her head in disbelief.

"That stuff about how she couldn’t wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool," Aniston said.

Asked if she ever speaks to Pitt, Aniston said that they have exchanged "a few very kind hellos ... and congratulations on your babies."

She stressed that the two "had an amicable split ... The marriage didn't work out."

As for her on-again romance with notorious womanizer John Mayer, Aniston (who said she still wants children) said, "People need to mind their own business! Did you ever think Claudia Schiffer and David Copperfield made sense?"

Of Mayer bragging about dumping her the first time around, Aniston said, "Trust me, you’ll never see that happen again from that man."

Aniston also said she and her mother Nancy are in the middle of a slow reconciliation that began after she split from Pitt.

Her comment, "Love just shows up", is very telling. Everything is hit or miss, and usually it's miss with Jen.
She needs emotional help. For her to dismiss every relationship - they all end up in the trash heap - is the story of HER life. It's not realistic, because she IS NOT realistic about any of her relationships. She picks hit or miss, they pick her - hit or miss. She's not attracted to what she really needs because she is emotionally repressed.
Beauty, bodies and hair mean more to her than soul. It's a very shallow way to live.

Jen's biggest problem is that she is rejecting herself. No self-esteem whatsover. She's attracted to handsome men as she is quite vain, but at the same time, with no self-esteem, they reject her. Over and over again...she's rejected because down deep she's rejecting herself. She needs help. She's going to keep on picking bad men for her and they will keep rejecting her.

Jen can stay silent for years and she is tied to the adulterous pair. Just leave her alone. Its Angie that keeps this going. It the media in b ed with Angie (whose a slut anyway) who keep this going. I love to see Mr. and Mrs. Jolie-Pitt they sure know how to strutt their love on the red carpet! Its not even "played" it looks like an impulse moment. They look like old fashioned HollyWood Royalty. Hopefully, they will bring that sense of Romantic waltzy kinda feeling back to Hollywood. They have great chemistry together. I love how they touch each other constantly showing little signs of endearments toward each other.They both seem to be "touchers" that show their love by a look, a caress, a hug, a pecking kiss, a wink, etc. Sometimes its like they are in their own safe cocoon world where nobody can hurt them. They are a tremendously high powered Hollywood major player couple. May God continue to bless my Brangies. not to be mean bc I don't care for JA one way or another, especially when Friends ended...but, JA and Brad always looked like friends, not a "couple" you know? There are a lot of times whereby Brad would touch JA and she would have a look like "not now we are in public, please stop..." I hope JA gets her self together. Her movies failed many times and she'll only be good for television.

Everyone here is making it sound like Angelina Jolie is crying for the media attention. She's a swarm of media frenzy because she has a kind heart. She has kids, adopt kids and wants more kids because she loves them. She hates seeing people suffer, so she helps them. She's a Goodwill Ambassador and she promotes humanitarian causes. Unlike many Hollywood stars that just donate within the states, she is doing it internationally.

There is nothing wrong with her feeling deep emotions for Brad while working on screen. That happens when you connect well with someone. Also, she did NOT say 'Hey, I slept with him while we worked.' So Jennifer Aniston shouldn't even be angry. It's called a crush. But since the blondie couldn't keep her man happy, he LEFT. And hey, he found someone that makes him happy.

Get over it, Jennifer. And with Jenn's remark about the Hampton jokes and carrying one kid in one arm and what not, what is wrong with that? You'll be doing it as soon as some man out there is willing to settle down with you.

You think of crazy drunk girls showing a little too much just to get the most attention when you think of “wet t-shirts.” I guess people is just that desperate; desperate times call for desperate measures. Plain and simple, Angelina said what she said with intent to hurt and humiliate, and hurt she did. Something that will impact another being so tremendously and has been so publicly crucified, does not slip, nor is said without knowing the results. No matter how much she has done or not done for others, this changes my perception of Angelina as a person. I believe it speaks about her morally and second guesses her actual intentions behind every ‘noble’ act.
As to my feelings towards Jen, no I don’t feel bad for her. I sympathize for the pain she must have felt, but in the end she is the happier of the two women. When she is trying to move on and seems content with her life, Angelina can not take her out of her mind… or else, why the extra effort to hurt someone so publicly who should have been in her husbands ‘past’? This just makes every comment that “Jolie is no longer afraid of Angelina” absurd. All along, I believe, it is Angelina who has been afraid of Jen.

Laying blame on another is easy and shifts responsibility of the relationship on the other person without having to own up to your own part in this "union". She should not use her time for hate or negativity in her life because she will then allow it to fester in herself. There should not be any room for ugly pettiness. When you make wrong choices, you have to step up and take responsibility for them and ask herself:'What part of this do I own? We all struggle to figure out what made us make those choices.
