EXCLUSIVE: Jennifer Hudson Cancels Video Shoot

 Dave Hogan/Getty Images Jennifer Hudson has cancelled the first video shoot scheduled since the October deaths of her mother, brother and nephew, a source tells Usmagazine.com. The Oscar winner, 27, planned on shooting the clip for "If It Isn't Love" in L.A. next week, her J Records rep confirmed to the Associated Press Dec. 9. But "the video was set up before the tragedy and she felt like she should finish what she started, but she's realized that she's not ready to go back to work," a source tells Us. "It's too early," the source adds. Look back at the Hudson family album. A personal rep for Hudson, however, calls the original video plans "speculation. "The video shoot was never confirmed, so there was nothing to cancel," the rep tells Usmagazine.com. "[J Records' statement] was erroneous." Darnell Donerson, 57; brother, Jason, 29, and 7-year-old nephew, Julian King, were fatally shot in Chicago Oct. 24. Not only is she somebody, she's an Oscar winning, Grammy-nominated SOMEBODY and what a great person is she! Ignore the idiot who says otherwise--he/she is the real "nobody." And I'm sure the rest of her ADULT family will determine whether they should leave Illinois or not...NOT JENIFER. It's not her responsibility...all she can do is offer to help...she can't make grown people do anything they don't want to. They have a right and a RESPONSIBILITY to carve out the kind of life they want for THEMSELVES. God bless Jenifer and her sister Julia. May the good Lord continue to bless and strengthen them and their family in their hour of need.

This young lady has had a traumatic experience happen to her, she may not know it but she is probably suffering from post traumatic syndrome and there is no timeline on when or what a person will experience going through it. She needs professional as well as emotional support. For those of you who can do nothing but find ugly things to comment on, may god have mercy on your soul when judgment day comes for you. How do you be happy knowing your family was viciously taken from you, how do you bounce back knowing that a seven year old that was part of you, had to know that he was in danger and noone could save him from this monster who had NO value for life! So if she needs to take another year to come to grips with her tragedy then so be it.

God Bless the entire family. I've lost 3 relitives this month (different decades) But, it is always hard, you think one day, your OK. The next day you are crying to the point of getting sick. To call the video shoot off is brave and intellegant. Never push yourself through a hrad time.

Jenifer Hudson is an Oscar winner and an incredible singer. More than that she is a child of God. And for the insensitive people on here who are taking the time to write such hateful words; why do you bother. If you really feel like that why take the time to even read the story. What a world. The same people also probably think it is sooo cool for GQ to have an aging NAKED jennifer anniston on the cover...who cares. And rather Ms. Hudson reads the comments supporting her or not it is heard by One greater than any of us!

To the person who said she's a "nobody" - I wonder how you would feel if your mom and sibling and nephew had been murdered and someone said "who cares, they're just a 'nobody'"? I'm not a big fan of her music, but I feel sorry for *anybody* who has to lose a family member, especially more than one, to such a tragedy.

I feel for jay hud... this is the last thing in the world an emerging star needs to be dealing with..for her part the pics on tmz said it all..she was the only one in the photos who looked geninunely devastated. i pray for her peace of mind, and its not easy to mourn loved ones in any circumstances let alone ones as horrific as this.. as for those calling her a "nobody"..well, even nobodies are still gods children.. and deserve better than that being thrown at them.

My mom and brother died recently and 2 months is just too soon. You have to deal with the grieving process and that can be helped but can't be accelerated at will. Things will just come up at times throughout the day or week and you can't help yourself but cry and crying is healing. I went to a recommended psychologist and had a few sessions of hypnotherapy with her, because reintegration may be needed after massive shock and trauma and now I feel much better. It's good to get the right help at the right time, but it's not a time to rush.

I don't blame her one bit; Jennifer needs time to heal -- she lost three people who mattered the most to her in such a violent, senseless way. I kind of know what she's going through. I took home a friend from work and we found her husband -- I tried to revive him, but couldn't. I haven't been quite the same,,, it's so hard to get back on track. I'll be praying for Jennifer.
