Wow! Ok she is so my idol right now! My baby is just about 6 months and I had to stop breastfeeding as I never really had too much milk and have had to supplement the whole time...I have a very low thyroid...tried everything..accupunture and eatiing lots, pumping etc. Nothing worked. Anyhow, I have decided to stop and am now excited to get back to my pre-pregnancy size! I am so motivated by her because I just started to exercise 4-5 days a week and take my baby to a gym with Childcare (amazing woman who watch the kids). I am now seeing results with just slightly changing my diet and eating no fats (only good fats) and whole grain breads...so not a major diet, just a few changes and plus no deserts and I am seeing results already. I definately think it is the exercise for sure which pushes it along and I am sure exercise waas a major contributing aspect for Jessica. Go girl! I now see it can be done..I got up to a size 8/10 on the bottom and a size med/large and I am petite so that was alot on me. I still have a ways to get back to my size 2/4, but I feel confident that if i keep up with the exercise it can be done. If I had wanted to start this after a month or two I could have (if I HAD THE EnERGY! lol!). Anyhow, mporal of the story is that I think it can be done and you don;t have to be famous to do it either...just have will power and join a gym that has babysitting and be concious of what you are putting into your mouth bottom line. Remember..,.the elyptical machine burns about 500 calories for a 45 min session...thats a alot! I do that 4 times week with some arm weights and some yoga 2 times a week at home with my DVD...and some sit ups as well. It can be done and you have to work at it! Go jessica!!

She looks amazing but I guess if most women who have children could afford a trainer for that many days they too could have spectacular bodies afte giving birth.

I really wonder about those photos.......and just how much medical help she had. I saw the video of her from the behind when she was pregnant her behind was HUGE. I'm wondering how much photo shopping or lypo suctioning hse went through. If my livelihood depended on me being a size zero I might think twice about starving myself also. I agree with 4:27. Let these people try to get up to be at work by 8:00 a.m. & run around all day for hearless blow hards & see how beautiful they look.

OMG! I SEEN NON-CELEBRITY WOMAN HAVE A BABY AND GET THEIR FIGURE BACK AFTER A MONTH! WITHOUT EXERCISE OR DIETING. SOME WOMAN ARE JUST LUCKY! GOOD FOR JESSICA, IF SHE DID IT WITH HARD WORK AND DIETING, KUDOS TO HER. YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAVE LOTS OF MONEY TO GO FOR A THREE MILE WALK, OR DO SIT UPS OR WATCH WHAT YOU EAT. YOU WEIRDOS!

6:26 : it's not just because she is young, a lot of young women never get their figures back after having children. You can almost always tell when a women has had kids by looking at her body.

A few of you sound so jealous. So what if she has a trainer and dietician? Those things aren't required to get yourself in shape! I recently lost 30 pounds by simply exercising daily and changing my eating habits..and trust me..I'm not rich. I don't have a trainer nor anyone fixing my meals. Getting in shape requires nothing more than the will and hard work to DO IT! Some of you should try it instead of whining about how easy celebrities have it.

Grrrrr....I'm so jealous! After having twins my stomach has been stretched out and looks like a deflated balloon. Even though I'm thin, and work out 4 times per week I'll never look like that. :(

I could look like that if I had the $$$ for a personal trainer and dietitian.

3:48, When I went back to work FT with three kids under 5, I was so exhausted from running from work and back and meeting the demands of my job as well as the demands of my family. Then last year I discovered squash. It was so much fun that although I was getting a killer workout, I thought I was just playing and couldn't wait to get on the court. That led to greater self-confidence and strength and in the summer I started playing tennis, badly, with a friend. When she got sick one week, I decided to give running a try because I used to enjoy it. I took it slowly and after a few weeks was up to 2 miles and loving it. Now I'm getting firmer and stronger and losing about a pound a week. My advice would be to try to find an activity you enjoy and play! Sneak some in when you can. Kick a soccer ball around with your kids while waiting for skating lessons to start. Take hikes with them. Take them to the pool and do water aerobics while watching them (jump tucks in chest deep water is awesome for abs). Put them in the stroller for a walk or run. I like "stroller-blading". It can be done, but it has to be something that works for you. My mistake was trying to get to Jazzercise. I always had fun while there, but it was impossible fitting it around my schedule. I need something I can do independently whenever I happen to be free.

We need some balance. Not everyone can and should look like Jessica Alba. Nor should we focus on how we look, especially after having a baby. If you were to ask your baby, s/he would tell you you look great! We should try to be healthy and active and strong enough to keep up with our children. Go slowly when trying to get back into it. And doing some moderate exercise while pregnant will go a long way towards making sure you don't have to crawl out of a hole to get your body back.

She is young her body can easily with the approprate care.

i'll admit i'm jealous and there's nothing wrong with that as long as you don't bad talk nobody. I think Jessica looks great! WORKOUT, EAT RIGHT, NO STRESS= GREAT BODY. COUCH POTATOE,FAST FOOD, STRESS= OVERWEIGHT

I'm probably only getting 1700 calories a day and BFing. It's not the ideal situation but my son has a lot of intolerances so I've had to cut out a ton of food. Her 1700 is probably very nutrient rich and healthy.
