US POLL: Jessica Simpson's New Beer Ad – Hot or Not?

Jessica Simpson's ad for the Dallas-based beer Stampede Light Plus debuted Wednesday on Extra.

The brew is touted as being packed with vitamins to support an active lifestyle.

The singer, 28, says in the campaign: "I work out and take care of myself. But I also like a cold beer once in a while. That's why I made the smart choice with a smart beer. Stampede Light, it's beer plus."

Simpson is also taking a 15 percent stake in the brewery.

"As an entrepreneur, I am always looking for ways to diversify my portfolio with good ideas and good people," she said in a statement reported by the Dallas Morning News.

Simpson also has an eponymous shoe line and her scent, Fancy by Jessica Simpson, hit stores last week.
