It is so sad - yet I feel compelled to question why they cremated their son so quickly. Some reports say he wasn’t seen by anyone since Thursday and was found on the bathroom floor at noon the next day – when he was supposed to have constant supervision. I hate to say it – but something is not right here. We have 2 sons and I could not fathom cremated them in a foreign country; I would at least bring my child back to the US. I also found articles about the parents and their refusal to acknowledge their son's condition these articles were written earlier this year - could this be a coincidence? There is also the question of how long he was alone, when he was never to be left alone. Yes we all have a time to die – and if you do not have the proper medication…….

I don't think it's a coincidence that they were in the Bahamas (read: not in the U.S.) at the time of this tragedy, and they had the cremation before returning to the U.S.

No parent unexpectedly losing their child at such a young age would focus on cremation so soon after the loss. Such a parent would rather insist on 20 autopsies and hundreds of second opinions to console themselves with what could've been done to prevent the loss of their most precious thing on earth.

In this amount of time the denial, vain quest for answers and paralyzing grief would take precedence over swift action to cremate. Inaction would be a more likely behavior after the loss of a child than what has occurred here.

If I am driving down the road in a car with a young child who is not properly strapped into her carseat and I get into an accident and my child dies, that is tragic. I am ruined for the rest of my life but at the same time I am partially to blame for not strapping that child in properly. I loved that child. If I have a child with a seizure disorder who is having at least one seizure a week and I leave him alone without medication and/or a call for help button and with a "nanny" and he dies, then yes, I am partially to blame. This is a tragedy all around. When Anna Nicole's son died last year, how much sympathy did the media have for Anna Nicole? The loss of a child is tragic no matter who you are. Public figures should be treated equally.

Why is everyone talking about Autism? The media is reporting Kawasaki disease. May God Bless the family. What a tragic loss.

First, explain to us why this is your business, since you vehemently argue that it is yours and everyone else's? The doctors have found NO foul play. You say Scientologists are against any kind of mental/emotional disorder, viewing them as a flaw. Yet, autism is neither. It's neurological. You say MAYBE he didn't have the care he needed, MAYBE neglected. Well, maybe he did have the care he needed,maybe they didn't neglect him. Why do you suppose the worst of someone with absolutely no proof? Why did he die alone if he had 24/7 care? 24/7 care means someone is there to care for him. They don't have eyes on 24/7. Not even in intensive care is there a nurse who sits by their bedside and watches them 24/7. He had 2 full-time caretakers. (To be continued)

Its my buisness! Its everyones buisness! Especially if there is any indication of foul play or neglect. Did they provide food and shelter, and love? Yes they did! But I think they were ashamed and in denial of his autism, therefore, they denied it, which helps no one! It only furthers the already attached stigma to mental or emotional illnesses. Scientologists see mental or emotional illness as degradation, and therefore, they struggled to hide that information from the public. There may have been things they could have done to prevent this, if they were not hiding what they consider, a shameful aspect of their lives....ps...they claim he had 24/7 care....then why did he die alone???

My heartfelt sympathy to John, Kelly and Ella on the loss of their beautiful child and brother. No parent should ever have to endure the loss of their child. I have a 16 year old daughter and cannot even begin to imagine life without her. May beautiful memories of Jett bring you strength and comfort in the difficult days that lie ahead. I've worked with special needs kids, many of whom had seizure disorders, and it's true that every case is different and developmentally the treatment protocol must be constantly adjusted. More severe austism and seizure disorders can't be controlled by medication, only managed, and there is often a down-side - life-threatening side effects to the treatment.

I respect the hell out of the Travolta family for lovingly and discreetly seeking the best solutions for their son's needs and limitations. How dare anyone judge them as negligent and insinuate fowl play because they chose not to publicly go on record about the severity of Jett's condition. They clearly put his quality of life first and I expect that they very well knew from the type (grand mal) and frequency of Jett's seizures, that he may die from one. Why else would they employ 24/7 care for their sons???

Your ignorance is understandable, but your disrespect for this family in their deepest sorrow and loss is shameful.
