I don't want to hear one peep about racism from a black person ever again. Not after nearly 100% of you voted for him. Last night showed an excellent insight into your souls. I will never view a black person the same way I used to.

Well, all I can say is that I'd rather keep my freedom, my guns and my money and that everyone else voting for Obama can keep the "change".

Redistribution of wealth

Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign the read “Vote
Obama, I need the money.” I laughed.
Once in the restaurant my server had on a “Obama 08" tie, again I
laughed-just imagine the coincidence.
Suddenly, it hit me. An experiment is in order.
I asked the server, did he really believe that Obama's platform was a good one? Yes, he did.

When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept.

He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his
tip to someone who I deemed more in need - the homeless guy outside. The
server angrily stormed from my sight.
I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10, and told him to thank the server
inside as I've decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was
grateful.
At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn, even though the
actual recipient needed the money more.

I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept
than in practical application - at least if it is your wealth that is being redistributed.

I agree with alot of what you are saying, people are very very color blind in this election and that's sad. Everyone is so focused on the fact that Barack Obama had a black father that they can't see past that to what he stands for, what kind of a leader he will be for this country. For me, it's not about whether someone is black, white, green, blue or purple. It is about who I think will be the best leader, and in this particular election it is Obama. I think McCain does have some good qualities but underneath it there is something creepy about him and I see more of the same that we've dealt with for the last 8 years if he is elected. That Obama hasn't been in Washington his whole career is refreshing, he hasn't been jaded by years of the lies and deceit that runs rampant throughout our government. Democrat or Republican, white or black doesn't matter, what matters is who is the best choice at this time for the country. The best choice today is Obama and that will be proven when the polls close tonight.

People keep talking about we need change, but what has Obama done so far to create change while being in the senate....nothing. I feel that most of the change people are talking about is that it is an African American running. He has no experience, maybe in about ten years but not now.

Well I just wanted to comment about what religion and belief has done here in this country. A little history lesson, who was here first? YES, NATIVE AMERICANS..... we had our freedom since the start of time and the WHITE man came and took everything we had away. Than came the BLACK people who were servants and slaves that were kidnapped from another country. so all in all i dont really care who becomes the next president of the united states. they are all the same, make promises and never see it thru. so good luck to both men.

His Grandmother may very well be in Heaven, I don't know what her beliefs were, but I can guarntee he doesn't think that. Obama is NOT Christian. No Christian would support partial birth abortion...or abortion at all. He supports very little that ANY Christian could agree with.

I am sending this message to OBAMA in the lost of someone who meant so much to him, some one who played a big part in his life, his grandmother will always, always be near him in every step of the way. OBAMA knows the legacy he caries when the love of his life departed from him do what she would of wanted you to do and that is win this election fair and square.

I'm not voting the McCain/Palin ticket but I think it was very kind of John McCain to send his condolences to Barack Obama. It goes to show that both men are just that, flesh and blood men who have emotions and the ability to be kind to each other in difficult times. Regardless of their fierce campaigning, they are able to put that aside and respect one another when it really counts.

To everyone on here who continues to bash Obama, you are entitled to your opinion no matter how misguided. Getting your information from tabloid websites and taking it for gospel is a great way to make a decision about who to vote for. Anyone who believes all the b.s. about Obama being a terrorist or anything else is just foolish. Anyone who still believes he's a Muslim, that he isn't really a citizen, or all the other garbage that's out there about him needs to wake up. Even if he is a Muslim, in this country we have a right to freedom of religion, so who cares what religion he or anyone else is? And, if you would get your head out of your rear end for a minute you'd realize that all Muslim's are NOT terrorists! Just like all American's are not rich, white and racist -which is the opinion of most of the rest of the world about us.

Obama is not evil. He offers change.

In a practical world, Obama shouldn't have a chance. Yes, he's a good talker, and probably a nice man, however McCain blows him out of the water on the important issues,experience, and a love for this country no one can even come close to. We don't need a Muslim in a country that is losing faith in God every day. This country was founded on religion/Christianity and that's the way it should stay. We aren't going to get that from a socialist. Check out Revelations in the back of the Bible. Stuff is happening word for word. God is coming back soon. Hope you're all prepared. Just remember when you vote today, if you're voting for Obama that you are voting to give up anything you have ever known and loved, that includes freedom. McCain will protect our freedom, he proved that years ago when he was a P.O.W. That should be enough in it's own. I will continue to pray for this country and know in my heart that God has a plan whether we like it or not.
