John Travolta and Kelly Preston have returned to Florida with the remains of their 16-year-old son, Jett who was killed by a seizure Jan. 2, The Associated Press reports.
They took an urn with his ashes and left the island chain on Monday night, Obie Wilchcombe, a family friend, said.
"Everything was in place, the cremation was completed, and they decided to leave," he said.
A funeral date has not been set.

The boy's body -- which showed no signs of head trauma -- was cremated Monday after an autopsy was completed, and it determined that no foul play was involved. Although authorities have yet to release the results, a source confirms to Usmagazine.com that Jett died of a seizure disorder.
At a press conference Monday -- in front of the Bahamian funeral home where the boy's remains were being held -- Wilchcombe said: "I haven't spoken to the Travoltas [today], but I have spoken to some of the family and friends who are here with them.
"[It's a] very difficult day, obviously, and it's been a difficult time for the Travoltas ever since Friday," he went on, "and it continues."
