And let me tell you...if I DON'T want a kid, I'm not trusting my partner to "pull out" in time, to make sure the condoms haven't expired, etc. I'm not relying on anyone else to be "in charge" of MY birth control. If I don't want a baby, then I'm taking charge of the birth control myself (which usually means we are EACH using a method -- double protection!)

I can actually see how it's possible for a woman to "trick" a guy into getting her pregnant. A "forgotten" birth control pill and there you have it. It all depends on who is in control of the birth control, right? I can't see resenting your own child, though. After all, it was his mother's actions, not his.

I never said I didn't love my kid. I said I have resentment. Read my statements carefully next time. I know how babies are made, I made five of them. I'm just saying that women who think getting pregnant without the man's consent is a way to enhance the relationship, are wrong. It ruins the whole experience of fatherhood. The man will resent you and the child to some extent. I'm not the only man who feels this way. Many many men feel the same but they're afraid to speak up. I don't want to resent my unplanned child but I do. This has nothing to do with love. I'm a very good father but everytime I look at my first child I feel a pang of resentment, being tied to my ex-wife forever when I had no say in the matter. I always get good Father's Day gifts and all of my children love me, even my first (who doesn't know about my resentment by the way). The women getting offended with my honesty are the women who probably trapped a man into fatherhood at some point.

The lady is a b*tch anyways. She left her 1st husband of 5 months because she couldn't take the stress of his heart condition. He was in the hospital and really sick, when he was able to come home she didn't care about him and just left. She's a b*tch. 5 months and someone's going through something terrible and you can't even follow the VOWS of "...in SICKNESS and in health..."

She needs to grow up and make her child grow up too. By the rate she's going at she'll be breastfeeding both her children (2 yo and one on the way) until their 18 and heading off to college.

I predict she'll be on her 6th marriage soon enough. Married the first time for only 5 months, and married a second time for only 2 years. I smell another coming along soon. She'll be 60 years old and married for the 6th time if she keeps it up. Heck, she's only 40 years old. Maybe she should understand the concept of marriage, or maybe she just shouldn't get married at all, and just try a commited "dating" relationship.
