You know I'm in agreement with someone else who posted here, would we be even having this conversation if Obama was white or evening hearing the racist remarks that I have been hearing all over. It's pretty sad don't you think, that some of you still refuse to grow up and actually live in this new century with the rest of civilized Americans who actually wanted something better, who indeed were actually tired of spending 10 bil a month on an unwinable war while that country works with a surplus. Who are you to judge whether people are on welfare have you ever wondered why, maybe it's because they can't find jobs due to the fact that our previous administration shipped a majority of their jobs overseas, or their jobs were downsized or the factory was closed down. Maybe they can't start their own business because they couldn't get a loan because the banks actually started drawing up stricter lending practices 2 years ago after thy gave loans to the supposedly self-employed business owners who were reporting the incomes as 300k a year when they were actually only grossing 80k after taxes and expenditures and they were already overextended in their credit. I know that some of you can't help yourselves because your brain capacities are that low, but some of you wouldn't dare say some of the crap that you have been saying to your black or white co-workers without fear of loosing several teeth. So I say to you just stop it, if on the next go round your candidate actually has a plan that doesn't involve the words bailout and doesnt run a campaign filled with hate and lies and actually talk about thier plan maybe just maybe we'll vote for them in 2016

Let's get real. For good or bad, Obama is going to be our next president whether you like it or not. Second, his skin is darker in shade then mine. At first glance most would consider me white and Obama black. On this alone I don't think this make me any better than him or Obama more deserving then me but unfortunately for the last thirty five years I have been running up against this bias as it is thrown in my face day in and day out especially by the liberal media.

Yes, the popular vote was fairly close.
The landslide came in with the electoral votes, in which Obama won many of the "red states"
He took a different approach, where many democrats (&republicans do the same) usually not spend as much time campaigning in tradionailly blue or red states bc they are a rare win for the opposite and a almost certain win, he focused on the "50-state approach" where he and his staff campaigned hard in all 50 states.
Thus he took many of the states McCain thought would be a shoe-in, the race was even tight in Texas that almost always is red.

I voted with my brain, maybe you should have looked past what McCain & Palin were saying to learn the truth.

Look at that, I am 23 and I clearly know more about the election process.
