Scottish singer KT Tunstall, best known for her 2006 hit "Suddenly I See," married her band's drummer, Luke Bullen, UK's Daily Mail reports.

The 33-year-old songstress and Bullen, 34, wed in an outdoor ceremony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on Scotland's Isle of Skye on Saturday.

Tunstall wore a full-length strapless gown decorated with crystals and jewelry. Bullen donned a dark blue suit.

The groom had proposed to Tunstall on Christmas Day during a surprise trip to her family home in St. Andrews, Scotland - a month after he secretly asked her parents for permission.

"So, 1100 GMT on Christmas morning, the doorbell goes and it's Luke suited and booted," Tunstall blogged at the time. "With all his bags. And a little box. Wrapped with a ribbon. He proposed."

She continued: "Being an opportunist, I obviously said yes. It feels smashing. Keep an eye out for a little sparkle as I'm playing those chords."

The wedding, held at the Flodigarry Country House Hotel, was part of five days of celebrating and attended by about 150 friends and family. Guests feasted on beef and seafood.

The couple plan to backpack through South America, India and New Zealand for their honeymoon.

Last month, Tunstall purchased a $1.5 million, two-floor apartment in New York City.
