Just to let you know, many alcoholics and drug addicts find themselves battling with their addictions their entire lives. I know one alcoholic who, after 12 times in rehab, finally "got it" & went on to be the director of a very successful rehab facility. It's not like you go to treatment & you are magically better, and an addict can relapse for no apparent reason after years & years of sobriety. I don't know why, that's just the way it is... So quit your snickering & "Oh, she's been to treatment enough times..." It only shows your ignorance.

I remember Mackenzie Phillips, she is an amazing actor who could make you laugh or cry at the drop of a hat. She had real versatility and was a real person that other teens and young adults could relate to. I will be praying for her. A life growing up in Hollywood is not an easy one. To the person who wrote the comment above - you should not throw stones if you live in a glass house. Talent and authenticity makes someone beautiful. Mackenzie phillips gave a lot to women growing up watching her show!
