Madonna, Guy Ritchie: $76M Divorce Settlement Is "Inaccurate"

 Ferdaus Shamim/WireImage.com Madonna and ex-husband Guy Ritchie are blasting a recent report about their divorce settlement. On Monday, a rep for the singer told The Associated Press that the singer, 50, had given Ritchie, 40, between $76 million to $92 million as part of their divorce agreement, adding that "it's one of the largest payouts ever." But in a joint statement Wednesday, the two say, "We have tried to maintain a dignified silence regarding the details of our divorce for the last few months whilst accepting the obvious media interest. "A misleading and inaccurate statement, specifically in relation to the sums of money involved, was wrongly issued to AP this week. See photos of Hollywood's ugliest divorces. "The financial details of the settlement will remain private, save to say that both of us are happy with our agreement. only if guy had adopted lourdes would there be an issue and if she used his name on any documents i.e. passport, schools or gifts she may have received from him. she has always interacted with carlos leon so there should be no issue there for her as she is older now and can relate to whats going on around her more so than the boys, who will no doubt need counseling, but they are use to the traveling and separation, just now guy won't be around more often other than the scheduled visits. common sense not the law should dictate from their lifestyles as artists.

Sad that the marriage didnt work - I wish Guy well. I think Madonna is an amazing person. I know alot of you are jealous of her and feel the need to call her nasty names but, no one can deny that she has become one of the greatest selling artist in history. Only M.J., the Beatles, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, and Elvis have sold more. And she did that in just 25 years. She also gives tons of money to charities. Show some respect, the woman is a living legend even if you wish she wasnt.
