Why doesn't Oprah have an all White, Native Americans, Latino's gathering at her Women of Legions? Her cast is all African American which is fine, its her house and her money, but if Barbarb Bush or Suzie Orman were to have a huge gathering honoring admirable women and did not invite African Americans, there would be a price to pay. Oprah doesn't have a clue. Why can't her crowd be a mixture of beautiful women who are scientist, mothers, nurses, healthcare workers, breast cancer surviors, battered women, homeless women, women who has lost their sons and husbands in war. Now thats a real reason to honor real women. All of that food and glamour and not one person in the crowd who has real tragedy in their lives. I am not racist, as I think Jennifer Hudson deserves a dinner in her honor and in the memory of her mother, brother and nephew. Now, thats something to think about Oprah. Oprah, you make it hard for others to appreciate you. I don't watch your show as your past shows only placed stab wounds in my heart of some of your remarks you have made over the years. When I heard you make "several" times the remark that your mother told you to be good to white folks because they will give you nice things, then you so proudly make the remark, "Huh, I have white folks working for me". Why do you feel the need to belittle people? Does it make you feel better? Quit saying racial slurs and be proud that God has given you so much in life.

I'm so happy to have a new president, with fresh ideas and great knowledge, that I haven't really given it much thought - about our new president being black or white! Why does everything come down to the person's skin color? I think my attitude has to do with the fact that my parents never used racial slurs, didn't discuss racism in the family home growing up, nor did they tolerate my older sister and brother saying anything racist inside our home. I know there's millions of Americans who are racist about certain people - their race or religion, or whatever their issue is. I wish they would just get over it already, as it is a new millenium, and things have been changing, and are still changing, so they need to get used to it.

who the hell cares that oprah cried on a stranger shoulder thats a waste of time to read or hear about over and over again. I think that a large percent of those in politics lie. This election was dirty before it even started. I think I will stick to reality shows,CSI Lasvegas, and Judges Mathews.
