Meg Ryan is a Phutz! I really was a big fan of hers but, thanks to her she cured me of idolizing any stars. She was married to a wonderful loving man and had a great son, but, she threw it all away for an affair. Meg you are where you are because Karma kicked your arse up and down that red carpet. You really dogged it! I am so glad Dennis found love and has a family. Maybe Meg learned her lesson don't mess with Karma. first you then crazy head JAniston. actually Meg did way way better than JA as she has had her Poor Pity Me Party going on for 3+ years with no end in sight.

Look 11:25, it's great that you can do that. Really, most women would love to be in your shoes. But for the average woman, it's just not the same. Even though times have changed, women I think will always struggle deeply with a career and motherhood. So don't jump to judgements just because you are lucky enough to have a great partner and work shift.

For a lot of women it IS difficult to have a decent career, kids and a happy marriage all at the same time. So I totally understand what she's saying. She isn't saying it's impossible, it's just difficult.

And I'm sure when, like Meg Ryan, you were married to a man whos had major trouble with alcohol and drugs and who has cheated on you repeatedly during your marriage, you become very distrusting of loving other men.

As for Russell Crowe, it's a good thing she ended it. It was probably just one of those rebound relationships that never work in the end.

i think cheating is the most horrible thing you can do but i will say that i truly believe he was already cheating on her. when i lived in dallas they filmed part of any given sunday there and one of my friends was an extra (cheerleader) and she saw with her own eyes...dennis quaid's behavior and he was sleeping with some groupie. i believe it.

I worked with 2 women who had marriage problems because of their careers. One chose a man who liked home cooked meals, and was tired of cooking them all, and eating alone. The other it was the time factor and kids, too many caregivers. Not enough together family time.

I don't think it's that hard really. If you have a supportive spouse, that makes all the difference. I have 3 kids, my husband and I own a company that's 9-5 and my husband works his job 9-5. Everything works out just fine with us.

I think she's using that as an excuse. Her marriage ended because of her affair-not because she couldn't 'balance'.

Meg Ryan has a point: It is hard to have a relationship and career, but she did her best to balance it out, etc.

She was unhappy in her marriage or she would not have looked outside.
Staying in a marriage does NOT guarantee happiness.
Moreover, lots of people cheat and wind up pretty happy with a new love.

I just can't relate to her since she had her nose job. It just seems that her whole personality has changed. She should never have done that to herself. She is unrecognizable now.
