In regards to the previous comment, Debbie Phelps is a wonderful woman and mother..She is there for her son through ups and downs and puts her kids' needs before her own. She has raised one of the best Olympians that our country, and the entire world, has ever seen before and it just goes to show that some people don't appreciate a woman who would give everything in her life to see her son succeed. Also Michael Phelps is a very talented person and his first book was amazing and I'm sure his second one will be just as good if not better.

I love this guy. He's such a cutie too! He seems a little nerdy (in a good way), and that's so sexy. I love men that are driven and have made great accomplishments in life, and never giving up and striving through adversity, and just because he suffered from ADD, doesn't mean he's not smart. All those men that women turn down because they don't look like Brad Pitt, well, they're dumb, because it's men like Phelps that have way more going on for them than what some may think. I'd pick Phelps over Brad anyday.

Regarding the book: American youth need someone who has walked through trials and not given up on themselves. The American people need to read such a work for we need to understand the strength of family who together faced life's problems and worked together to make it happen as one. Such a idol worship can only help a nation take a deeper look at ourselves and see what we need to do together as families, local communities, and a nation to repair our nation's self identity, values and focus. Mr. Phelps has not only earned the right to write such a story of his life, with true honesty - life experiences good and bad, but I hope we as a people will reflect on our role to see ourselves: have we put down some one who is different or have we helped them? Do we offer encouragement or step aside and let them flounder? The questions are true as honest as the man who now helps us see ourselves. A simple story could help us grow more insightful about our own lives, let alone that of our neighbors...

Well, his not having a girlfriend much longer might surprise both of them. They've been together a long time from what I understand and it was her he was texting after his races telling her he loves her. Fame isn't anything new to him - I can't see him being "that guy". At least I hope not.

This book is about his struggles as a kid, dealing with being bullied and his ADHD. it is a great time to write this book, so many kids will benefit. I am so proud of him, he is amazing.
