Does anyone remember back in January when Heath died and he (Michelle's dad) made that rude statement to the press about how Heath's family should just "come clean" about the money, and then went on to say that he was not close with Michelle, Heath and Matilda? Why pry if it had nothing to do with him?

Yes, her father got arrested for 1.5mil in tax fraud. Emancipation is a beautiful word.

Not her again - you're getting "bad acting" confused with "bad films." An actor can't be blamed for a sh*tty setup, but they can be praised for making their own part work on a sinking ship. Between you and the critics, i'm going to have to side with them regarding her talent.

Was there any adequate evidence that Michelle was a diehard Republican? If my father is a diehard Republican, I'm a Republican, too?? Since when? I have and know so many friends to have different opinions with their parents especially about politics. Did you know her in person when she was a little kid? Was she a diehard Republican kid? Hey, kids are growing up! And family relationships are so complicated. If you're not a member of the family, you don't know what's going on inside the family.

Michelle hasn't lived up to her potential as an actress. She was awful in I'm Not There, cringeworthily bad in Deception and melodramatically ridiculous in Incendiary. Her problem is that she hasn't got much range as an actress and can only really play roles where she doesn't need to speak and where she is seen as a 'poor little thing'. Hopefully her boyfriend Spike Jonze, who already got her the Synedoche New York gig, will help her choose roles that suit her narrow range. As for her father, she was very ungrateful towards him and never visited him once in Australia nor presented him to Heath or Matilda....EVER. Poor man only ever spoke well of her though. She was also a diehard Republican like her daddy who had run for Senator some years ago, but possibly to spite him, and because she hangs out with the Democrat indie crowd which are de rigeur in the film world, she has swopped allegiance. What did her Daddy do to her to warrant her not speaking to him for years? He only ever helped her. He disapproved of her stripping on stage for a play once, but which father wouldn't? No wonder Heath left her, Heath who loved his divorced parents to bits, even their new spouses and his half-sisters and step-sisters. That man had a big big heart, unlike Michelle.

I think we can all agree that Michelle Williams is definitely best know for Dawson's Creek, not Brokeback Mountain. I sometimes forget that she was even in that movie.
