Minnie Driver Jokes Her Son Was Too Fat for Halloween Costume

Minnie Driver's son Henry was just born in September, but she's eager for baby No. 2!

"I'd have another one," Driver, 38, said on an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show to air Friday (check local listings).

Driver says the urge recently began to grow.

"I think it only kicks in after you have really forgotten...I've only just managed to look at the pictures of the birth...they do make you kind of go...owww...," Driver explained.

"And then I look at [Henry]," she added. "I want another one of him!"

Plus, Driver says he's "very easy...he sleeps and smiles as far as I can make out."

Henry Story Driver, born on Sept. 8 in L.A., weighed in at a whopping 9 lbs., 12 oz. (Driver never released the name of his father.)

"He was a pumpkin for Halloween," Driver said. "Except it didn't fit him because he was too big. We had to cut the feet off - he wore orange and black spider socks - but his diaper...I would hold him facing out because on the back there, there was just this huge triangle where his diaper showed because we couldn't close it."

DeGeneres replied: "That's a big baby...that's too big to be a pumpkin! That's really the biggest costume you can buy for a baby."

"He's filling it," Driver joked.

DeGeneres handed Driver a onesie in two different sizes that said: "I may be BIG but my Mom is Minnie."

"We decided to give you a gift because we had heard he was a big baby," DeGeneres said.

my first was 10lbs 5oz and 22 1/2" long! no meds all natural! #2 was 9lbs 14oz needless to say 2 is good for me!!! But they were WORTH EVERY BIT OF IT!!! I would do it again in a RED HOT second!!!!! Congrats to all the new Moms!!!!Cuddle those babies 4 me!!!!

I had three big babies 9lbs 10oz, 9lb 15oz, and 11 lbs 1oz. Healthy handfuls is what we called them!!

That onesie is so adorable! Big babies are so cuddly! My oldest daughter was my little baby at birth but once my mother got a hold of her, she became my little chunker... so snuggly! My baby now is such a tiny thing... but still snuggly though. Babies are wonderful! Congratulations Minnie!

fat babies are the cutest!! I was 9lbs 6oz and my mom didn't get her innards ripped out!! haha I had more rolls then a bakery! Henry is precious good luck with more in the future, oh and tell us who the papa is already!!

10:18am-good luck with the baby i wish you health and happieness take care x and the outfit ellen gave her too darn cute i love it i was a tiny premy baby to inpaitient to come out only a month early on 26th may yey!lol but now im 5ft11 and 100pounds go figure? lol um my great grandma had my uncle tony in the war in a shelter and he was 13 pounds and my great grandma was only 5ft so it hurt and there were bombs going of now he's 5ft6 and tiny he ha! anyways goodluck minnie x catt

haha I wouldnt worry about it if I were you. I think you'll be ok and if the baby is too big then you would be able to get a C section.
But in the end the pain will be worth it for your baby girl or boy, thats how I look at it. I'm also very scared, I have a few monthes left to go!!

im scared of having a big baby. i am 5'6 110 pounds but my husband is 6'5 230 with a huge head and im scared that the baby will take after him and rip out my innards during birth :(

I know about having a big baby. My dauhter, who is now 4 months, was 9 lbs 2 oz. when she was born! Big babies are great. Congrats Minnie.

My brother was over 10 pounds and Mom just pushed him out! Everyone was congratulating my Mom and then asking if she had her blood sugar checked recently. Haha. She isn't diabetic, my brother was just a big fat lovey baby. And now (25 years later) he is 6'4" and 190 pounds - a string bean!!
