EXCLUSIVE: Christina Aguilera to Open American Music Awards With 6-Song Medley of Hits

 Gregg DeGuire/WireImage.com Christina Aguilera will open the American Music Awards on November 23 with a seven-minute medley of her greatest hits, Usmagazine.com has learned exclusively. The opening number will include "Genie in a Bottle," "Fighter", "Beautiful," "Keeps Getting Better" and "Dirrty," a source close to the show tells Us. Other performers: Miley Cyrus, Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Rihanna as well as Mariah Carey, with whom Aguilera she famously feuded in 2006. “We are very excited to have Christina Aguilera perform at this year’s show," Dick Clark Productions President Orly Adelson told Us in a statement. "She raises the bar with each live performance and you can expect something special at the 2008 'American Music Awards.'" I love her raw music. She has a voice that can do anything. She is a wife and mother and seems great at that role too. I think people on here make up crap because she is a famous singer who is different than all the other singers out there. I think she has come so far since she was a child star. this girl is amazing, she is who she is , like it or not. she's not a commercial artist who is gonna sing or do whatever her label wants her to do just to sell records. she is a true artist and incredibly talented girl. not a puppet like alot of other girls in this industry. this lady gaga issue is a bunch of bull. these idiots just thrive on what perez hilton says, do your homework xtina is about as original an artist that there is. so get over haters. she's opening the AMA's for a reason. she's respected by people who know true talent. so sit back and get ready to hate on the performance,cause you know she' gonna tear it up.
