Nicole Kidman is very proffesional and also very modest. What she said, she said in modesty and not to bash the movie. She didn't even say these things in that order. Please listen to the real interview and you'll see how cruel this story is.

I agree. Tom Cruise is a wonderful actor but he has a dark side, I think. You just feel like there's something not-so-nice under that charming, handsome veneer. Remember that interview he had with Matt Lauer, in which he called Lauer "glib"? I could have sworn that Tom that at any minute he was going to leap right out of his chair and start kicking Lauer's ass. It wouldn't have surprised me, you know.

I really liked Australia. To me, It was a multi-dimensional film. It didn't at all deserve the bad rap it got. She and Jackman made a gorgeous couple; everyone in my theatre clapped at the end because it was just so sweet. I will be purchasing it when it makes it to DVD.

I really love this movie, i'm sorry, i'm just being honest. Even though it was soooooo long. Nicole Kidman is and will be a great actress. She is not that famous out of nothing. Plus, that botox discussion is not of your business.

I love her! She has always been very modest and I think most people are misinterpreting this. I used to think she was an ice princess when married to Tom, the only pics you ever saw she was barely smiling in. She used to be radiant the first few years but then gaunt and listless like a statue at Tom's side. Hmmm, remind us of anyone we know? Tom was an idiot for letting her get away. Remember that stupid comment of his, "Nic knows why we are not together!". Yeah, because she didn't buy into your Scientology B.S. I wish her much luck. She's a great actress. Beautiful, too, Botox or not.

She's just trying to bring attention to the film, and it has worked. I have not seen this movie yet, but now I plan to. I want to see just how "bad" her performance really is.

I thought the movie was really entertaining. Nicole Kidman did a good job in her role. This was an action/adventure movie, not Grapes of Wrath. She shouldn't be so hard on herself.

Australia is a very good film. For Nicole to diss it as she did, is very self-serving. It takes away from the performances of Hugh Jackman, and the child actor in the film, who were amazing. Hugh Jackman has a crying scene that will knock your socks off. Never mind the fact that the director, Baz, loves Nicole-it seems Nicole loves Nicole too, because she feels the need to explain herself away, while throwing everybody else under the bus, when her performance doesn't get critical acclaim. Well Nicole, what about the acclaim of the moviegoer who plucked down their money to see the film? Why isn't that enough, why don't you have respect for the people who already saw the film and liked it very much? If you thought you were so bad, you should have said so before the movie, not after, when you didn't get nominated, and it didn't do as well in the states. It was released before Christmas, that was the big mistake, if it was released now, it would have done much better, but it is absolutely worth seeing. Nicole, I think you should have made these comments about the movie FUR, then it would make sense. If you can relate to that, and not to your character in Australia, you need to get your head examined. I guess we don't know you very well after all.

Whoa! There certainly is a lot of negativity in these comments. If you never attempt something you can never excel or fail at it. Nicole Kidman is human like the rest of us. I've enjoyed many of her movies, including "Australia" and I continue to wish she and her family well.

Maybe the reason she isn't disappointed in her other films is because she hasn't seen them...I have a hard time understanding why everyone thinks she is such a fantastic actress. I personally believe she would be better suited to stage acting as she has a tendency to overact. And she should stop doing interviews, she comes across as dumb which I am sure she is not. It is almost as if she is trying really hard to sound intelligent which only makes her sound like an idiot.

So, she first goes around to all the talk shows, including Oprah, and praises the movie and talks about how wonderful it was to make. Then, she and other women from the set, swam in some lake and then they all end up preggers around the same time. To me she promoted this movie to be this amazing piece of work with brilliant actors, blah blah blah... and then NOW she comes out and says she didn't like her performance AFTER she see's how it bombed at the box office??? Way to get out of THAT one Nicole!! What a flip-flopper! Its partly her fault the moved choked. Oh and word of advice....STOP messing with your face girl!! You looked better au-naturale!!!
