7:44AM......I'm sorry for your journey you have had. But I have stated I'm not for welfare either. BUT not in your case, there are cases like yours that we need welfare. I think MOST people who talk about welfare and the people that are on it and "milk" it are the ones that keep having kids in that situation and DONT TRY to work and try to get FREE money from the working class. I have a friend who does this EXACT thing, we are no longer friends because she doesn't like what I have to say! She is with this dude who already has a 6yr old and he finally got a job and they garnish his wages to pay back child support. THEN my frined and him have a baby and he still works but she doesnt because she's LAZY and draws welfare. THAT IS NOT FAIR! And may I add when she gets her food stamps at the first of the month they spend it on food for a bbq for him and all his friends...they do drugs and the money is abused!! This is WHY I"m SOOOOO against most on welfare! I wish they made random drug tests for people on welfare, I garuntee half wouldnt' get it anymore. BUT that will never happen, it's just sad and it makes me so mad to see people do that.

Just me and a 2 month old and a 1 yr old. I was on welfare for 3 months and you shoot me down for it. After working on the same job for the last 17 yrs. I didn't live OFF OF YOU AND NOBOBY ELSE! I PAID MY TAXES! AND THOSE TAXES FOR 3 MONTHS HELPED ME OUT. I'M DONE WITH YOU! HOPE YOU GET IN A SITUATION WHERE YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE BETWEEN HOMELESSNESS AND WELFARE WITH 2 BABIES ON TOP OF THAT!

9:33PM By the way I did this while my mom was found to have diabetes and cancer and I had to work and then find a way to get her to the doctor, because the doctors said she was going to die if I didn't. My husband was working at night and going to school full time to makes ends meet, too. No sitters, just me and my family. By the way, my mother is alive because of my family's dedication. Had three children, too to take care of. Not self-righteous, just tired of not being able to keep the hard-earned money I make for MY family.

9:55PM You haven't been listening to the news. The figure is now down to $120 thousand dollars a year according to Obama, Biden and another Democrat. Most rappers make more than that, I'm sure, so they will be taxed first. You do want them to be patriotic, don't you? No racism please, we will all pay our fair share. So open your wallets. I'm just being honest. I was one of those people who made fun and talked about and degraded people for being on welfare. I had a big head cause i'd been on my job for 25 yrs. And in a freak accident i ended up not being able to work as many hours like i used to, i downsized my living but it didn't help.I needed some outside help so i sucked in my pride and got on welfare. I'm sorry to all the people i ridiculed and put down.

For all you people slamming Obama for supporting partial birth abortions that is the woman's choice. Do you want to raise and pay for all the kids that will be saved from abortion? I think not. Wise up.

How small minded you are to think that all small town people are racist. I live in a town of 352 people and have traveled to Ireland, Scotland and England; not to mention other numerous cities in the United States. I am not racist and there are very few people in my town who care that President- elect Obama is black. What we have problems with is his way of life, beliefs and straight out phoniness. He is a socialist boardering on Marxism. Also his redistribution of money concept is a little harder to swallow when you actually practice it. Just an example that might hit home for you.........When you get your next paycheck go give it to a homeless person or some women on welfare with 5 kids who doesnt want to work and just lives off the government because they deserve it more according to Obama even though you worked your butt off for every penny you earned.
