I am very tired of Oprah at this point, and I actually voted for Obama. Oprah, you’ve done your part in getting Obama elected. Please respect a huge portion of your viewing audience and stop parading around "POST-Campaigning" and close your wallet flaunting it all over the place. This is becoming almost a mockery in itself, yet she constantly has shows about the economy and struggling families and hasn’t mentioned anything about sponsoring seats for some of her most loyal viewers that have watched her show for the past 15 years.

I haven’t heard anything about how any part of Obama’s left over “Pot of Gold $60million” dollars will either be given back to the supporters in this “HURTING Economy!! Or better yet this man is laughing all the way to the bank and then some, not a worry in sight, neither him or Oprah. I say let Oprah feel the pain that working class are right now, stop watching her show, paying her millions a year to enjoy her lavish life dishing out pennies to us!!

Furthermore, everyone is acting as if this man is the new “Living God”, he can only do so much when he takes the Oval Office!!!

IF POPErah REALLY cared about giving a show to the people in DC - those who live there and all those traveling for the events, then she would have had her show at the football stadium or another LARGE venue. It's not like she couldn't fill it with all those who walk the zombie walk for her - drinking THA Kool-Aid, and Metro (subway system) would have transported everyone easily.

She's such a fraud. She doesn't give a sh*t about her fans, who made her life everything it is. She's so out-of-touch with real life and 'regular' people, though they believe they are more special because of her . . . Such Fools!

I am suprised she only wanted the Opera house. (I am from DC). If she rented out the Eisnhower theatre next door and knocked down the wall it would only set her back about 100 million dollars and then she would have an extra 1800 or so. Seems plausible.

Oh come on! I go to the ballet and the opera (in the opera house) the symphony, etc. The Kennedy Center is right next door to the Watergate. That is where Nixon fell and where Monica lived. It is suuuuuuuuuper expensive and there is not close transportation.

Yep, she is in touch with the people. And I am really liberal. She irritates me. I mean, congrats on your success - sincerely. But don't tell me what to live or what "favorite thing" I should get now.

I have lived in DC for nearly 30 years and I can't get tickets to the inaguration. I gave 200 bucks (percentage wise more than she did) to Obama, and proudly. I am not saying I deserve more. I just don't think she needs to be so freaking showy about it.

Oprah has two sides. She is Obama's biggest fan and pushed this down the American public's throat. She snubbed Sarah Palin for her show, then wants her on the show, after the election. Then she turns her back and takes a large sum of money for her African school, by Obama foes. It's all about Oprah, not what is good for the country. I won't watch her show, now please Oprah.....SHUT-UP!!!!!!

Of course she is going to be there, I would not expect anything less of her, she is like his groupie, except no sex involved.

what is wrong with all you Oprah haters? she is an amazing,giving,kind,generous woman. she has helped thousands of ppl. find someone else to hate. Oprah is incredible.

She wants to work her way into the Lincoln bedroom with Barack.
