I too have stopped watching Oprah, watched for years but I have had enough of her, I've watched her show since the first tapings, never again!

And I thought the folks on the CNN blogs were nasty!

If Sarah Palin would go on the Oprah show, she will be showing her studidity, because she cannot talk without putting her foot in her mouth. By the way, noone new who she was it all. Her own town do not acknowledge her, her own newspaper voted for Obama. What does that tells you? And they know her better than anyone.I'm glad she did not go on, she cannot look any crazyier than shes already. She better stay out of the spot light for a long time. The white House is no place for a mother that has a child that needs her 24/7. you cannot raise a child properly from overseas, or from a office desk. your children should always come first, no matter what. I believe that a women place is to take care of her family, not try to run the White House. But I forgot, Her husband is the mom and dad, WHAT A JOB FOR HIM? AND HIS OTHER KIDS. WERE ARE THE FAMILY VALUES.

To Educated White Woman,

First off, before you commit yourself to calling Dubya the most incompetent US President, take a moment to research Jimmy Carter. He came into office after 8 years of Republican White House occupation, a long, unpopular war, rising gas prices, and scandals. Jimmy Carter also promised us CHANGE. He was well educated, well intentioned, and incredibly naive. Let's hope that the President-Elect does not take us down that same path. (Incidentally, Carter was followed by 12 consecutive years of Republican White House residency).

Second, Sarah Palin did not have 18 months of campaigning to perfect her talking points. And she certainly did not have the love of Big Media, which acted more like party propaganda machines vice objective reporters.

Finally, hate spouting bigots are not limited to any one particular party. Sadly, there are folks - including those with college degrees - who think that being vehemently anti-white, anti-Christian, and even anti-American does not make them hate spouting bigots. They are mistaken.

Oprah has every right to do what she wants and as far as her being a racist....not likely in a millon years, if she wanted to do the interview after words then that was her call to make. AND STOP HATING ON HER!!

Why is it that so many Americans welcome and support ignorance? Bush has to be by far the most incompetent president ever. To add insult to injury, people actually believe that Palin could be president. She is more incompetent than he is. What a joke!! Palin was not treated no more unfairly than anyone else running for president. If she can dish out all of her insults and folk isms, she can take it like a big girl. The media only interviewed Palin. Palin is the one that gave a horrendous interview with Katie Couric, didn't know that Africa was a continent and so forth and so on. For those of you who think that pointing out her shortcomings is unfair, something is seriously wrong with you. I feel more secure with smart people not dumb people.

Furthermore, why does everything have to be about race? Oprah supported Obama because he's black? Not everyone is selfish, self-centered and greedy like the Republican Party. Some people actually care about the well-being of others. Perhaps she supports him because she agrees with his views??? Let's try that for a CHANGE.

For you Palin supporters, you supported her because she's white or because she's a woman (you can choose whichever one you like). In either case, Obama or Osama (whatever you want to call him) it doesn't matter. Calling him something other than his name or calling him by his middle name doesn't matter. You can no longer intimidate and put fear in someone just because they are not white like you, Muslim or have a name that some terrorist happens to have. We are smarter than that. That's why we voted for Obama.

How do we know that Oprah REALLY said this about Palin to Extra? US Weekly likes to put their spin on things. They are worse than the Enquirer at times.

I'm sure Palin could pimp her book on all the other shows, like "The Today Show, "GMA", and many more. And really, does Oprah have any book credibility after giving us "A Million Little Pieces (of crap)"? I used to watch Oprah when I was home with my babies, but I'm over that now - and 2 of said "babies" are now in college.

New poll out, thumbs down for the news media, 64% of women thought the coverage of Palin was more negative than that of other hopefuls. 93% said the candidacies of Clinton and Palin should encourage more women to run for office. 86% said the young girls and women in their own lives would be more likely to take an interest in politics thanks to Clinton and Palin. 79% women though that news coverage went overboard with respect to the clothes of Palin. Slowly the people will get bits and pieces about the corrupt media and how they twisted and spread rumors and lies about Gov. Palin. No one likes to be played especially by the news media and TV shows. Once the economy had tanked, Obama would have won without the trashing of Gov. Palin.

Why would Sarah want to be on the Oprah show after the way Sarah was treated by the left that Oprah represents--the Black left, to be more precise. Who is Oprah, anyway. She isn't "all that". Sarah knows Oprah has no use for her. Sarah knows Oprah helped get Obama elected even though Sara has more executive and budget experience than Obama and Biden put together--talk about lack of experience!!!!

Since Gov. Sarah Palin wouldn’t appear on the Barbara Walters Show that moron Walters sat there and interviewed Tina Fey the clone as Sarah Palin. I had to laugh though they both looked like two stupid hags. During the interview with Fey, WaWa flashed a couple of pictures of Palin and then went back to Fey, ended up making Tina Fey and WaWa looked downright ugly compared to Palin. I felt sorry for Fey. Fey was too stupid to know she was being used by WaWa. What kind of woman parades around telling everyone she had an affair with a married man just to promote a book? Next she tries too do a hit job on Sarah Palin because the woman wouldn’t appear on her show. The old hag bashed Palin from day one. Walters has turned into one sad old bitter woman. Oprah has to much class to play those kind of games.

I was reading the comments that some of you people had to say , who's being rasist now! Sara Palin is a joke & if you think that she could ever be a president then the joke is on you. as far as her not wanting to be on Oprah's show I wouldn't if I was her either , People want to put Oprah down b/c she didn't want interview Palin until the election was over, that's her right.Every one knew that she was for Obama , she didn't hide it . I agree that Oprah was being ridiculous when she said she wanted to remain "neutral" during the election. She just didn't want to give airtime to the opponents of Obama - people might actually have decided they like McCain instead! Can't have that! And it's her show, so SO WHAT? She can do whatever she likes and that's fine.

But to say that Sarah Palin snubbed her because she went on shows with actual NEWS people (with the exception of Larry King) in serious venues instead of to the I heart Obama headquarters? Come on! She is just taking advantage of her position to slam Palin even now that the election is over. Then implying that she would come on the show when she had something to get out of it? Not nice....

As to the person who said no one but Alaskins knew Palin before the election... Well, I think EVERYONE knew who she was prior to the actual election - just not prior to the time she was campaigning. Also, it's not accurate to say Oprah didn't have candidates on the show. Obama was on directly before he announced his candidacy. And anyone who didn't know which way Oprah was leaning IS an idiot.
