It is so sad when people go through the difficulties of life and do not have Him in their heart-their life has got to be so empty. My husband went through a stem cell transplant using his own cells in October 2004. He had Multiple Myeloma-cancer of the bone marrow plasma cells. In January 2005, the oncologist said he was in remission. It has been a blessing from our Lord. Many people were praying for Bob and people are praying for you. He is still in remission today and is doing good. He goes to his Oncologist every two months to get his blood work done and to get a medicine through the vein to keep his bones strong. Lisa, I cannot say I have walked in your shoes with the type of cancer that your Patrick has but I went through my Bob's with him. Hold onto each other and most of all hold on to the Lord. I recently rewatched Dirty Dancing, and I have to agree. Patrick Swayze, you are the ultimate sex symbol in that film. And, my gosh, what a talented dancer. I hope you are granted the gift to be able to continue using your talents for all of us who admire you so much. Also, I too am a cancer survivor. I was fortunate in that my breast cancer was caught in Stage I. I have to return for follow up visits, and at this stage, I am two years out from the removal of the tumor. I did not get to see your interview with Barbara Walters, but I know that your movies will affect many people in years to come. It is a blessing that you and your wife have been together for so long, as you know this is a rarity in today's trouble world. Bless you.

I to was diagnosied with cancer in 2006, I WAS DAVISTATED TO HEAR THE NEWS, I CRIED, I YELLED TO ANY THING I COULD SEE, I TOOK THE WOOOOH IS ME ATTITUDE. AFTER I WENT TO MY DOCTORS I WAS GIVEN MY TREATMENT REGIMEN AND BEGAN MY JOURNEY. AND YES CHEMO WAS PURE HELL, BUT I GOT THROUGH IT. I KEPT TELLING MYSELF,THIS IS GOING TO BE ALRIGHT, WITH MY FAITH AND MY DR.'S I WAS GOING TO BEAT THIS MONSTER. I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH SATGE 3A BREAST CANCER. I'M DOING VERY WELL, I SAID ALL OF THAT TO SAY THIS, IF YOU HAVE FAITH AS SMALL AS A MUSTARD SEED THEN YOU HOLD ON TO THAT AND FIGHT WITH ALL OF YOUR MIGHT, BECAUSE GOD KNOWS YOUR HEART. TAKE CARE AND KEEP UP THE FAITH.

Patrick, You have been a blessing to so many people in your lifetime. You have given so much of yourself to us fans, that we could never repay you. We fell in love with you in Dirty Dancing, and you inspired me with Ghost. You see my son was 11 1/2 years old in 1984, when he was killed in an accident. God had only blessed me with 2 children, and I only had my daughter left. That movie really helped me feel like my son was still with me always. It has been 24 years since then, and God has gotten me through. Thank you so very much for all the wonderful movies you made that we get to watch over and over again. I have enjoyed Patrick Swayze since I first saw him in Red Dawn. He hasn't turned into one of these rabid Leftists who constantly attack the US which endears him to me further. He keeps his mouth shut and just works hard like 48% of the country.

How many Patrick Swayze fans are really TRUELY PRAYING for him. All you folks say all the time I, WE, will pray for you. How many of you really do? Do you actually get down on your knees and pray to The Lord that he will protect and heal Patrick? Do you ask The Lord to save him and do you pray for his salvation? How many of you do this every day? I know you all mean well but come on..your all TALK!!! REALLY get on your knees and PRAY for Patrick!!!! Do what you say your going to do instead of being all talk. Your intentions are good and I know you all love him,..so do we... but REALLY do what you say you will do. PRAY, earnestly, and diligently, and truely seek the Lord for this man to help him fight and ask God to give him the strenght to do so. Patrick has a reason he is going threw all this and GOD has a plan for everyone. PRAYER is POWERFUL, and...I mean very powerful. With millions of people actually truely praying for him he will pull threw and LIVE to tell about it to everyone for a long time.
I'm tired of hearing people say "Oh Patrick, we are praying for you" and no one actually gets down on their knees or actually takes Patrick to the Lord in their churches or prays for him " speak with your mouth " to the Lord so the Lord can hear you asking for his help and healing for Patrick. I did. Now it is your turn. Don't be all talk & no action.

Thanks for the brave interview you gave Barbara Walters and how honest you were through all the challenges you have faced with your illness. Your wife is amazing and beautiful. I really don't care about Hollywood people but Patrick is not one of them. He is very real and a family man and loves his wife. For that, I respect him. I hope he comes out of this ok and continues his love affair with his wife. I hurt for her too. I am totally in love with my hubby and would have a huge hole in my heart if something happens to him. Patrick, you are in my prayers every night and I know God will take care of you.

THANK YOU!!! for the Barb Walters interview to set my mind at ease. I wanted to hear YOU say how you were & how you were fighting "the Beast" so to speak. I just couldn't believe anything I read. I wanted to hear from you. Although you don't know me, I think of you all the time & am so sad you are having to fight such an awful disease. I know about it because my Dad had it. I thank you also for Ghost, Dirty Dancing, Road House, Point Break, Next of Kin, City of Joy, Tiger, and all the others that have given me pleasure & always some kind of happiness & enjoyment everytime I watch them.
