A public memorial to mourn the deaths of Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew will be held on Sunday afternoon in Chicago.
While Jennifer and her sister, Julia, will not be in attendance, other Hudson family members will be present.
An invitation-only service will be held at 3 p.m. at the Pleasant Gift Memorial Baptist Church (4526 S. Greenwood; Chicago, IL).
Beginning at 4 p.m., the church will open to the public, and attendees will be invited to speak about the lives of Darnell Hudson Donerson, Jason Hudson and Julian King, who were shot to death in Chicago.
"The Hudson family welcomes anyone who wishes to attend and pay their respects to these three beloved members of the Chicago community," Jennifer's rep said in a statement.

William Balfour, Julia's ex husband, is being held as a "person of interest" in the case. Chicago Police say the murders are "domestic-related."
The newest issue of Us Weekly reports that Hudson family members didn't take Balfour's threats seriously.
Jennifer and her sister also created the Hudson-King Foundation for Families of Slain Victims in the wake of the tragic deaths, according to a statement from Jennifer's rep.
The foundation will provide care for the families who have lost relatives to a violent crime, including giving food, clothing, shelter and grief counseling.
