Reese Witherspoon Beats Nicole Kidman at Weekend Box Office

Moviegoers proved they were thankful for Reese Witherspoon this Thanksgiving weekend.

Her comedy Four Christmases (co-starring Vince Vaughn) claimed the top box office slot, earning an estimated $46.7 million in five days and $31.7 million for the three-day weekend, Variety reports.

Twilight ($39.5 million in five days) and the 3-D toon Bolt ($36 million in five days) came in No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.

The James Bond thriller Quantum of Solace took the fourth slot, with an estimated $28.1 for the five days.

The Nicole Kidman-Hugh Jackman epic romance Australia grossed an estimated $20 million in five days, and $14.8 million for the three-day weekend.
